Unlucky incident by the sounds of it. Hope he's good to go soon again then. Good luck to him good bloke to have around. Will be good for Bodey to HAVE to run it out, sought of situtation he thrives on I bet.

I'm with you know all, if you hear it post it... Here we go... Latest out of Oval road is one of their Westies recruits (Mensforth) is not very liked amongst a few players at the club, one in particular... Also great game by Shane Smith yesterday in the C grade against the Emu's... Started at full forward and played exceptionally well, was dragged at the 2 minute mark of the first term and didn't return... Great game Log...!!!

Didn't say he wasn't a great bloke, i suggest you check a little further mate cause my informant is quite reliable on these matters and has a great track record... I don't know Mensforth from a bar of soap and have nothing to gain by typing "bollocks" about him, so it is certainly nothing personal, just what i have been told...

Mudslog at Reynella oval on saturday! The Valley played better in the conditions. Wasnt convinced that they are the second best team in the competition, but had reynella under control most of the day.But i wish them well for the year. Reynella seem to be struggling a bit, but have a feeling they might cause some surprises finals time.

Mr Mexican before you have a crack a person who has been a great club man and a association captain (Shane Smith), please establish why he in fact came off Sunday. Dont have a crack at bloke when he puts his club before his own health. C grade were struggling for numbers prior to the game and Shane offered his services.

3rd post in and Mr Bogan has taken offence... That my friend was posted in gest about Log, yes he has been a great servant of the footy club, but before you go on about lack of numbers perhaps you too should do some research before posting... Did Shane offer his services because the C grade were short or did he "NEED" to play to qualify for finals this year, i am led to believe that he has played 2 x A grade games prior to this week thus needing to play the remaining 2, i can only assume that he couldn't play on saturday for some reason so he needed Sunday's game or else would've been ineligibale for finals... If i have stated anything here that you take offence to or believe is incorrect please let me know... I will be happy to be corrected...

Reckon you are around the mark with your post on Log Mex,on the Mensforth thing though once again in the space of two weeks youre source has let you down. This guy feeding info to you is incorrect. He is well liked amongst his peers but has had a few form issues some supporters have been dissapionted with.I think with the large number of injuries sustained at Reynella this season we have done well in both grades to finish as high as we will, and like i said previously the other top 4 can write us off at their peril,i hope they do.Bring on the finals should be some great SFL games over the next 5 weeks.Mex how will you blokes go against the Cobras this week???

Thanks,Know All. No we were not unlucky on Sat just had a bad one but take nothing away from M/parks better side on the day.(young lad No-18 and tall lad I think No 11 were very good)
The big winner on the day was 18 coach Pinky who has watched every week 5-7 lads rotated through the A grade and after the A loss,Ratsy has released them all back to eighteens as all have been qualified This week should see the first time Pinky has got them back and we expect the boys to make an inpact in the finals :D

I was at the game on Sunday as well and fully agree with Mex,Smith is a good player but the facts are he was of early in the 1st.Mex only stated what everyone there saw.Maybe the truth is a sore point with you.
If the only reason you play is for a beer with your mates after the game, your playing for the wrong reasons !!

I have faith in my source so only time will tell about these couple of matters, should be a very interesting next month or two... No-one will be writing Reynella off i wouldn't have thought, you should have a comfortable win in the elimination then face a team that has lost it's first final, either Brighton or Cove, that will be a very interesting weekend... As for Cove this week we are anticipating a very tough contest and would imagine they will be out to show all they can play good footy when it counts. Won't be putting our ideal team out on the park but as you say you can only go in with what you have and we will certainly give it a crack...

Should be a cracker this week Cove and Vale, Mex you said you won't be putting an ideal side out on the Park and obviously no Shoprty, but apart from Shorty will you get anyone back for Finals???? Or is the side Saturday, plus Shorty the one that will lead the charge to your 4th or 5th flag whichever one it is??
Unsure whether Cove will regain services of MReavill but he will be back for the 1st final think he is only one of note with couple other a graders due back in week one of finals...

So with round 18 who are the other games between?

We have Osb/Lonsdale at the den and are expecting a great game, theres always tension between us and them and can't wait to see the outcome.

Does that mean Reavill will be playing injured?

I've heard reports and there is no way the injury sustained would heal by saturday week.

R-Fox one player you wont have to worry about is the Lonsdale A Grade full forward who last week was taken out by the infamous "Morphett Vale Sniper" who sits on the roof of our clubrooms and shoots out unsuspecting players hamstrings... This poor bloke did what very few forwards have done this year, got 5 metres on Craig "Smithers" Smith and was coasting for an easy chest mark about 25 metres out, when the sniper pulled the trigger and this poor fellow went down like a sack of spuds clutching the hamstring, allowing Smithers to amble off with the footy. Poor bugger! Can any of the plethora of Lonsdale posters let us know how he is? I was pretty close to the incident and he looked in all sorts. Just another notch on this snipers belt, he also can add CT and also i believe the Mexican as past victims over the years!

Was it Rob Schulz that went down? He plays everywhere I doubt they would have wasted him at full forward though.
Seems the snipers aim is improving as the year goes on.

Comic genius that Sniper.

I think we might have lost the game that the Mex went down in.

Not because he was irreplacable mind you, we all had too much trouble breathing after the fits of laughter.

I believe the afore mentioned sniper must also enjoy watching 100m sprints. I beleive he has also hit an unsuspecting victim in one of Morphett Vales Emu gifts 100m sprint race. with $100 dollars up for grabs to the winner I am sure the target was nun too impressed. quite amusing for all onlookers tho. much too the victims chagrin.

For such a nasty injury there is something amusing about the twange of a hammy. (never done one myself maybe thats why.)
Beat the whites of eggs with a pinch of salt until stiff...Continue beating, gradually adding sugar, vinegar and vanilla, until of thick consistency.
