We have Osb/Lonsdale at the den and are expecting a great game, theres always tension between us and them and can't wait to see the outcome.

R-Fox one player you wont have to worry about is the Lonsdale A Grade full forward who last week was taken out by the infamous "Morphett Vale Sniper" who sits on the roof of our clubrooms and shoots out unsuspecting players hamstrings... This poor bloke did what very few forwards have done this year, got 5 metres on Craig "Smithers" Smith and was coasting for an easy chest mark about 25 metres out, when the sniper pulled the trigger and this poor fellow went down like a sack of spuds clutching the hamstring, allowing Smithers to amble off with the footy. Poor bugger! Can any of the plethora of Lonsdale posters let us know how he is? I was pretty close to the incident and he looked in all sorts. Just another notch on this snipers belt, he also can add CT and also i believe the Mexican as past victims over the years!

Was it Rob Schulz that went down? He plays everywhere I doubt they would have wasted him at full forward though.
Seems the snipers aim is improving as the year goes on.

Not Rob, he missed this game.

It was Beau Kempster, only back for a couple of weeks after doing the other hamstring and working pretty hard with the physio to get himself right. Haven't seen him since Saturday, but yep it was pretty bad.

Haha Gold CT ....Sadly it was Beau Kempster who went down as if shot, he has chronic hammy problems and has only played a handful of games this year. I dont think it was the only victim of the sniper either CT Ryan Sargood also went down with hammy strain and Doug clinch went off to hospital.

Lion Heart I have to say the Morphett Vale v Lonsdale score line does not give credit to your guys efforts on the weekend. A number of B graders played in the A grade for Lonsdale and at no point did they look like giving in. It is hard enough to play against the might of Morphett Vale with a full team but with a percentage of them having already played 4 quarters in the soaking rain before hand it makes the task twice as difficult.

LH what was the actual number of double ups on the day?

Just seen ladder,

Morphy Pk v Flaggy

Marion v Noarlunga

Morphy win puts them into 8.
If they loose, Noarlunga need to beat Marion.
Marion % better than Morphy's.

Not good news IF true about Bodey that's for sure!

You seem to have changed your tune on the Pooflies clopsy?

Could it be your seeing them in a new light? Possibly the warm glow of a TEAC Plasma!!

Brighton beat both Morphett Vale and Cove in the past two weeks, they would have to be some chance.

I got that he meant BadMINTON but the statement was directed at me and I have no idea why he thinks I wouldn't know Finals are a completely different affair.

Just look at what Porties did to Cove last year!

I have heard some interesting news over the past few days come out of my beloved porties. It seems that A new coach is on the cards next year and that there are quite a few people interested, I would have liked to see Norm continue but it seems inevitable that he will go. Have heard a few other talks that Christies are definately getting rid of Mr Professional and that also maybe the Sharks are hunting also? With what I heard there may be some sharks at Port Noarlunga next year anyway. I know there is alot of rumours and heresay this time of year but think it should be open knowledge to know what is happening around the league. If Porties are trying to import the Shark coaching staff then I wonder how much this would hurt them next year?
