Bit touchy I see can't say I'm surprised.

If Pooflies is the worst thing that is said about Reynella then you should be happy Express.

I'm looking forward to this finals series and have no doubt Reynella will feature well into it so don't get your panties in a bunch.

While on the coaching merry go round, i hear the Emus are very keen to get Potts back to the club. Anyone shed any light?

Big news, lynch has been offered the christies and portie job, with big references to the clubs by both current coaches, reportedly he will be able to bring 10 players with him, not too sure if those clubs could spend the money his players would be after...

I know that Porties would not want any of the players he would want to bring.

Do you seriously think it would even be wise for a club to hire a coach on the promise of players he would bring with him??

That may get you short term success but when the money is gone they'll be right back where they started.

And the Vikings would be loving that !! What a fantastic weapon to take into the Finals !
Tell you what, I rate them ! Eleven in a row, and they handled Reynella like it was a piece of cake. Could be a Cove/Valley Grandy ---- no-one's suggested that yet, but believe me it could happen !
Any of the top four could take this year out now. Reynella still a rough chance, but must be rated the least likely of the top five without the help of the double-chance.

Brighton beat both Morphett Vale and Cove in the past two weeks, they would have to be some chance.

Unsure whether Cove will regain services of MReavill but he will be back for the 1st final think he is only one of note with couple other a graders due back in week one of finals...

My mail is that Reavill's elbow is worse than first thought...?? Time will tell...

We have Osb/Lonsdale at the den and are expecting a great game, theres always tension between us and them and can't wait to see the outcome.

R-Fox one player you wont have to worry about is the Lonsdale A Grade full forward who last week was taken out by the infamous "Morphett Vale Sniper" who sits on the roof of our clubrooms and shoots out unsuspecting players hamstrings... This poor bloke did what very few forwards have done this year, got 5 metres on Craig "Smithers" Smith and was coasting for an easy chest mark about 25 metres out, when the sniper pulled the trigger and this poor fellow went down like a sack of spuds clutching the hamstring, allowing Smithers to amble off with the footy. Poor bugger! Can any of the plethora of Lonsdale posters let us know how he is? I was pretty close to the incident and he looked in all sorts. Just another notch on this snipers belt, he also can add CT and also i believe the Mexican as past victims over the years!

Let me just say that to see a bloke stretchered off with a hammy is a little embarrising for the bloke... Grated not the best injury to sustain but a stretcher... give me a break... Poor form whoever that was...!!!

I think we might have lost the game that the Mex went down in.

Not because he was irreplacable mind you, we all had too much trouble breathing after the fits of laughter.

From memory "The MEX" was holding his own that day and when the sniper blew his hammy to pieces we were leading, however his touchdown on the outer side at Reynella went unrewarded... Cost him 7 in the end... The half a slab he polished off that day/night did not help his recovery mind you, 2am the next morning he thought his heart was in his hammy...

I believe the afore mentioned sniper must also enjoy watching 100m sprints. I beleive he has also hit an unsuspecting victim in one of Morphett Vales Emu gifts 100m sprint race. with $100 dollars up for grabs to the winner I am sure the target was nun too impressed. quite amusing for all onlookers tho. much too the victims chagrin.

For such a nasty injury there is something amusing about the twange of a hammy. (never done one myself maybe thats why.)

Have vived memories of that day when one Scotty Pollard was giving it his all and went ar$e over t!t and tore a multitude of skin off the bone and failed to make the main final... Pretty sure he was no where near making the final anfter that "FOPAR"...

From the sidelines it looked like he was holding his knee so the Morphies trainer ran on with the stretcher concerned for the guy and once it is on don't you have to use it.
Same game two players clash heads, Lonny rover gets up rubs head and runs off to play out the game. Big tough Shorty gets helped off the ground as if he was hit by a truck. No mention of that in your injury wrap up.

From the sidelines the trainer decided to use the stretcher? I was 40 metres from the incident and the Lonsdale trainer (I think it was Skeet) called for the stretcher standing next to him.
