Postby 85 WAS A GOOD YEAR » Thu May 27, 2010 12:25 am

Congratulations to Wade Stone, who is playing his 350th Senior Game for Flagstaff Hill this week.

Wade is already the current club games record holder for FHFC.

Wade started with the Bushpigs in 1988, playing 27 U18s games before progressing into Seniors.

He was A Grade Captain 2003-2006, and B Grade Captain 1997-98.

Best & Fairest for B Grade 1993 & 2008, and for C Grade 1992.

Wade served as a committee member for 9 years including the demanding role of Social Director, and was FHFC Club Person of the Year in 2000.

Truly, Red & Blue through and through... Wade Stone is a legend of Flagstaff Hill Football Club.

All Falcon supporters wish Wade the best of luck in this huge Milestone :D

We'll be there- and hopefully The Big Bang will stand him again and let him kick another goal (or 2!)

Good Luck Stoney!

you my friend, are a funny man.

good luck and congrats to Stonie. seems like only yesterday he were hugging each other at the bar and exchanging phone numbers after a ridiculous amount of beer while i was wearing a Bushpigs training guernsey after his 300th (club games i assume?) celebrations last season.

sorry to disapoint MG, i wont be playing this week, and i'm only a slight chance to be at the footy at all due to work. please be sure to pass on my congratulations to the great man if i can't get up there.

You played on him for the club games record tbb. Are you sure your not playing this week due to being a bit red faced about the last time you attended the club or are no longer allowed.

Well done Stoney! Was an icon around the club during my few years there a while back.

Could always rely on him to lead us newer younger blokes astray!

mate, my performance that night was nothing compared to a few nights at emuland! i must say though, it was the first time i've woken up on an opposition bench, and an opposition players spare bed in a space of 12 hours!

but, alas, i may not be able to work saturday on account of the job not being ready, so i may be able to have a run!

I tagged this bloke last year, he puts most of the young blokes I have tagged to shame, never stopped moving and positioned himself very well. Played against him again last Satdy, the same again. True gentleman of a player and has got plenty of games left in him yet. Congratulations to him!
