I don't know the name of the song, I think it's Fall Out Boy who sing it though:

'This ain't a scene, it's a goddamn arse face'

Yeah that's Fall Out Boy Fisho. The song is called This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race and the Lyric is "This Ain't a Scene, It's a Goddamn Arms Race".

oh dear I've done it again...got the radio on in the background so didn't hear the name of the song at the start...and hadn't heard it before...

Was sure she was singing...

'I like my feet scratched and my face down low' :-? :-o :?

Now know it was Dev's 'Bass Down Low' and the line is actually 'I like my beats fast and my bass down low'

Regards
JAS

Alice Cooper - FEED My Frankenstein from the movie Wayne's World.

I would always sing "Feed my Frankenstein" to be paid out for getting it incorrect by numerous mates who would say it's "Be my frankenstein"

Years later I bought Coop's greatest hits and to find on the back "Feed my Frankenstein", to this day I have never been told I was RIGHT!!!! 8)

Not so much misheard, but at the local pub on Friday nights as a teenager, "Dirty deeds DONE WITH SHEEP" would crop up more than once :)

Have heard a drunken version of an Elton John song converted to "Hold me close, my Tony Danza" more than once also.

Years ago, I thought I heard an Elton John song that had the line

"at ulysses command they all ran and they hid and I think he wore glasses when he was a kid"

For the life of me (not that my life is worth much) I cannot work out what the real lyrics are or even if it was an Elton John song.

Baby come Back

Right at the end of the vynil, when the song ends and starts fading away
If you listen carefully, or pump up the volume
You will hear what sounds like this
"" Root boy, root boy.""
And then
"" I just keep on rooting all night long .""

It sounds like rooting, but could be groovin ???

Leave the goats out of it man.. :P

Any song by Aussie Crawl would have variable lyrics.

Along the lines of recent contributions, even John Fogerty throws in "there's the bathroom on the right" when he sings Bad Moon Rising.

One I've heard that cracked me up was in Pearl Jam's Rearviewmirror.
The line is: Saw things.
But someone thought it was: Soy beans.
Gold!

I only just worked out that 'Lay me down and she'll surrender' is actually 'Lay me down in sheets of linen'

Paul Kelly "To her door":

"He started up his drinking, then they started farting..."

Trust me you'll start smiling every time you hear that line from now on...
