It's acoustic isn't it? Not quite as appealing personally...

Yeah , so I am lead to believe. They are playing 1 song off every album....going backwards in order.

Im with you ZZ , the acoustic sets dont do the band justice...especially not seeing Marty Willson Piper shine with his guitar solos.

For $42.00 it is not bad. You get CD and tour program booket talking about every album and song they wrote. Should be interesting.

I wonder if Kilbey will be in ARIA speach form??? ;)

Fantastic night ZZ...better than expected. Good crowd in the Gov last night.

Played 2 sets with interval between them. Sort of worked but I feel loses a bit of momentum in the show.

Kilbey in fine form with his speeches

Played one song from every album released. Starting from 2009's "Untitled #23" to 1980's "Of Skins and Heart". Must have been over 20 songs in total.

The acoustic set worked....but must say I missed the electric guitars on Reptile. They did a jazzed up version.

I was actually very angry with the Adelaide crowd....between songs a few were talking and the odd p**s head screaming out stupid stuff. Much to the disgust of Mr.Kilbey who stopped tracks and told the audience member to F.O. - not happy at all and fair enough too.

OVer 2 hours well worth the ticket price....left a happy man with a nice tour program, new EP (free with ticket) and a lovely new band t-shirt :D

Yeah I don't get people who are supposedly fans, supposedly pay good money to get in and then spend the whole time talking loudly or shoving their phones in your face.

Glad the gig was good though - I bought Seance on vinyl today in tribute ;)

Played "Fly" from Seance ZZ at the gig.

Funny Kilbey described the album's drum sound at the gig as "a bunch of machine guns going off"

Probably my favorite Church album :D

I've heard that said before, mainly as a reference to Nick Launay's work on that album - esp Electric Lash

Heaps Good! It'll be awsome seeing Lemmy and the boys play here in concert.

I really hope they do Dutchy because I will definitely go and see them. They're one of my favourite bands and I would love to see them in concert.

Best. Synthpop. Album. Ever.

One of my desert island albums. Assuming of course that on a desert island I could find a working powerpoint and a turntable

Great news. Saw Gary Numan and the Tubeway Army in 1979 - 32 years ago good grief. We will be there.
