Finished watching Shameless recently and was touched by the last episode which made me think of one of my favourite "mortality" songs.
Marmalade had a hit with this song in about 1970, this is an acoustic version, same singer 40 odd years later. Split screen with the original clip, something in there says they couldn't make the clip like that today. If anyone watches, see if you can spot why.

Just received a package from Amazon, an 8 cd edition of "Waiting For Columbus" by Little Feat. Haven't opened it yet but got into a few Youtubes while having a few drinks and thought I would share this clip.
The original vinyl was a double, had tracks deleted to fit on a single cd, then remastered with the original (and bonus) tracks restored onto a double cd, culminating in this latest delux edition. Probably my favourite live album ever. Little Feat have some excellent studio albums but were an absolute smoking hot live act. The clip is one of those "first time listener" things and, knowing the track so well, I enjoyed the guys reactions to it. Hope some of you enjoy it too.
