Ha ha! Nice to finally catch up mate. I thought I might be a tad bored by 3 albums straight but they were totally mesmerising weren't they? Such an amazing band they way they bounce off each other. Would have been better at the Gov but oh well...

Yes ZZ, good to catch up with you. I have to say I thought I would struggle a bit, I found each set better as it went on. I absolutely loved the guitar play between Willson-Piper and Koppes....love the dual guitars. I thought they stuck very well to how each song sounded on their albums...The Church have a habit of rearranging songs (some for the worse!!!)

Still after all that.....nothing beats Starfish.....straight though and too the point....amazing!!!
:D

Good luck with your new adventures in 2012 ;)
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

Going to take my Dad to see John Fogerty, I'm not a massive fan but always sung along with CCR songs when drunk at the footy club like most so looking forward to it.
I like the way he's doing Green River in its entirity in half of the concerts and Cosmos Factor in its entirity in the other half of concerts in Oz, would make a great experience for a die hard fan going to 2 different concerts, I wish more bands/artists did that.
Adelaide's got Green River.

Agree 100%. Especially when touring on the back of a new album, play the whole album during the show! Typically an album of 10-12 songs is only a small portion of a typical concert, up to 20 songs or more.

Greenday did this on the American Idiot Tour. Played the full album then did 12 or more tracks from previous albums.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Yeah The Angels did Face to Face and Night Attack in their entirity a couple of years ago to celebrate their anniversarys as well as one tour that had songs purely decided upon by the fans voting for their 20 fav songs.
Fogerty is a bit different in that hes doing different albums at different venues which I think is one step better.

will be all over this .... shame to see Clint move on ... I have seen them probably 15 times over the years and they always put on a great show. Looking forward to them hopefully pulling out a heap of oldies. considering going to both gigs.

He came out months ago and stated that his new band a thousand needles in red wasnt just a side project but didnt expect to see him walk away from TBE

Got my tix for the 27th. Gonna be brilliant. Never seen them live before  but first and last should be great. Window and the Watcher gets the heck beaten out of it on my playlists.

By far there worst release in my opinion . Really enjoy there early stuff that has a bit more grunt. You won't be disappointed . I'm super excited . I'm expecting real crowd involvelment as they have had a large following for best part of a decade and there live shows are second to none.
