JB's website. Looks like they've stopped doing them and was obviously only for pre-order.

1996 for Aenima wasn't it? Who were the supports TSG?

Can't remember. Used to go see bands play at least once a week. I do remember being very out of it and tumbling down the chairs when leaving.

Sorry mate normally when JB do pre-order things like this they're still available after the release date until they sell out of them and then just the normal version left to buy after that. I've bought a few signed things from them after the albums release date in the past but obviously not the case anymore or at least with this one.

If I had have known it wasn't still available (ordered mine on Wednesday last week) I never would've mentioned it, apologies if it seemed like I was gloating.

All good mate, I'd be proud to have a signed copy too. I can't wait to get myself a standard copy soon.

Still poor form on my behalf should've sent you a PM. Just assumed being Tomahawk there would still be plenty of them left after the release date like there usually is. If it's any consolation when Peeping Tom came out here in '07, Anonymous came out at the same time and Patton did an instore at a JB in Melb or Syd (solely to sign copies of the Tomahawk album, nothing else) and a guy from JB said if I ordered the album through them he'd get me one signed by Patton but it rocked up un-signed!

I intentionally haven't listed to it yet but the artwork isn't much chop as I'm sure you're aware.

 Yeah sounds like Aenima-era. I saw him dressed up like some old school pimp with Puscifer on Letterman once, certainly wasn't an improvement on the blue paint.

To be honest, I don't mind it. Has a kind of cartoon-y feel to it. From what I've heard, it sounds a lot better than Anonymous too.

I have only seen Tomahawk twice. The first was at the Big Day Out in 2002, and the other was the gig with Fantômas and Melvins.

I pre-ordered Tomahawk's self-titled album at The Muses at Tea Tree Plaza, and it came with a poster and sampler CD, but unfortunately no autographs...

Don't worry btw, it's not poor form to be happy about what you've got, because it's not like you're rubbing my face in it.

A lot of people saying it sounds a bit like FNM. Even the review in todays Advertiser says the same thing. I've only heard the single Stone Letter and didn't think much of it to be honest but I'm just glad they're back it seemed like both Fantomas & Tomahawk were gone for awhile there, Fantomas seem all but dead.

Yep, same as you only seen Tomahawk twice and both of the same shows and yeah I've still got the sampler CD & I think the poster for pre-ordering the first album through The Muses, did you get the one with Fantomas' Director's Cut too?

I remember flogging an Ipecac Geek Show tour poster from a shop window at the time too ;)

Nah, I wish I did though. I used to have so many posters up in my bedroom, but my wife put a stop to that. I still have my posters in a box though, ready for when we move into a place big enough for a man cave...

I really do wish Fantômas would come out with a new album too, but even more than that, I'd love a new FNM record.

Didn't have much on it just An Experiment In Terror (Radio Edit) & Spider Baby. I was trying real hard at the time to get one of those Director's Cut promo copies that came in a metal tin shaped like a film reel.

Yeah I hear ya I'm kinda between places at the moment and I've got a big box of posters sitting there waiting to put up at the next joint including a double sided Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas poster I'm still hanging to put up.

I reckon we'll see a new FNM album before a new Fantomas one especially after FNM broke the ice and wrote that new song they were playing live recently.

It's quite brilliant, isn't it?

I think I posted that on the 'What Are You Listening To Now?" thread a while back. I was also stoked to hear they performed all of King For A Day... Fool For A Lifetime with Trey Spruance a while back. Does that mean a Mr. Bungle reunion perhaps?

Yeah I really like it got a nice slow burn thing going on. I know Patton & Trey are all good now but think there are still a few problems between Trey & Dunn though and heard second hand that most of them have moved on from wanting to go down the Bungle route again.

For me personally better than playing KFAD in full they played my fave FNM b-side 'Absolute Zero' live for the first time ever.

Christ what a song.

No sh1t man.

It's right up there with my favourite FNM songs. One of my old bands used to cover this... badly.
