The last album you bought was...

Postby Pseudo » Tue Apr 14, 2009 12:05 pm

Name the last entire album you bought, downloaded, bootlegged or otherwise acquired. Rate it.

Mine:

Ladytron - Witching Hour

Not as good as the band's first 2 albums. Less kitschy and poppy. Sounds like it was aimed more at goth/emo kids with a penchant for the Pet Shop Boys.

'Crack The Skye' - Mastodon
Found it much more listenable than their previous efforts because of the singing, not growling.

Mastodon. "Crack the Skye", "Blood Mountain" and "Leviathan" all on heavy rotation here.

I liked it better than their second, maybe not as much as the first. Their new one Velocifero is pretty good too

The first three Radiohead albums which have been released in ultra-deluxe box sets.
Brilliant, especially the Astoria live gig they did in 95, which is spread out over
Pablo Honey & The Bends

Same as HH- also finally got my hands on No Use For a Name- The Daily Grind after a long search.

Looking forward to getting some more of my cassette backlog updated to CD. Next on the list include Good riddance- Ballads from the revolution
