Didn't 'hey there delilah' take 7 years or so before it went mainstream?

I always thought "The sun always shines on TV" should have done better for A-Ha. People were so enamoured with 'Take on Me' I dont reakon they gave it a chance...

Absolutley. I liked 'In the Air tonight' back in 1981 but he went down hill VERY quickly after that. My vote goes to Rupert Hine's Hang on to my Vertigo. Love the Immunity album excellent stuff.

Again I find myself agreeing with REB. Rupert Hine should have been much bigger than he was.
"Misplaced Love" was one of the best songs of the early 80's...

The song itself (Misplaced Love) was huge in Australia though from memory

I was introduced to it as a kid via one of those compilation albums ... "1981 with the Bullett" from memory

It's a great song

I am surprised no-one has sampled or remade it. Maybe they have?
In between signatures .....

Probably TISM's best song for mine and it was only a b-side:

"The factory of the future will have only two employees, a man and a dog. The man will be there to feed the dog. The dog will be there to keep the man from touching the equipment" – Warren Bennis
