- matches start from round 1
-13 rounds, 4 weeks finals
- you won't play everyone once, finals are from rounds 14-17. All of a sudden the draw is crucial
- no bye rounds. That's a shame NOT
- player prices change after two matches, not three
- shorter quarters 16 minutes I think
- 30 trades
For me this significantly changes the way you go about playing the game. I would suggest that GnR is probably not the way to go this season. Trade burning, mid-priced madness, no byes....year of the REBCats!
Good luck to everyone I'm not playing this week.

Your opponent wont appear until the last game of the round has started

I have the same 4 players too
Anyone else using the loophole for Martin? 126 is hard to gauge with the shorter quarters.

Scoring will be the same, 3300 points per match as normal, take the 126. ill take Grundys 160 tonight

Yeah I have Martin as VC but also have Grundy but at this stage don’t have the balls to risk a solid 126 captain score

Now have:
Grundy 358
Docherty 117
Cripps 112
Macrae 103 (happy with this for me it was him or Bont)
Pickett 94
Also have the option of taking Browns 64 but leave that for the moment.
Only bloke I’m now regretting not getting is Howe.

Most would have 4 out of that 5, I had Bont. Beware of Howe, he is notorious for getting a big score followed by a stinker, he's in my never again list.
