Is Pierson in one yet REB?
If not, what league is he eligible for and its code?
Sorry for being slack.

The onegameatatimers team is coached by Pierson so I thought you were combining your efforts. I'll slot you both in one of the lower divvies but you'll have to go onegamers only for the Piglet as my Uncle has joined the league. I've been sending stuff to the pmroa....email I have for you so if that's wrong let me know via PM.

Warning Warning Will Robinson

We’re hearing this about a few players Fyfe, Dangerfield, Pendlebury. Is it just a case of less rotations so players will be rested off the ball instead of on the bench

Seriously contemplating going one premium down back and loading up in the midfield. A Fyfe-Weitering combo seems better to me than a Shaw-Parish combination.

Hard to say how it will affect his scoring, but looks like Pendles will be spending a fair bit of time around half back this year as they give more midfield responsibility to kids like DeGoey, Treloar, Aish etc

I think you are right about the backline but in my view Shaw won't be able to maintain the level of scoring his price demands at the start of the season. I also believe that Mills looks a better bet than Parish and I reckon you'd only play one high priced rookie in the mids at most. At the moment it's no to Parish and Shaw but I've given Fyfe a miss as well. I've gone Gablett, Rocky and Pendles as all three are cheap by their standards where Paddy and Fyfe are not. I've got some spare coin and a lot of midfield rooks so hopefully I can get one of Fyfe and Danger in early. Pretty keen on Danger because of Geelong's draw but maybe not in round one and two seeing as Jelwood is out.

I've gone light on in the mids with Libba as my mid 5. However I do have the set and forget rucks as well as four keepers in the forward line. Defence is the big gamble as it will be for most coaches. Agreed Weitering looks good and the ball will be back there a lot.

So REB are you still resisting the mid pricers?
Bird, J Lonergan, Sutcliffe, Sheridan, Sheed and Cunningham come to mind

Flaw in that is, you're more likely to develop cash cows in the midfield and have more viable downgrade targets there too. Defence is a barren wasteland of good rookies usually.

Very true and that's something I am weighing up. I am leaning towards less defender premiums, hope for the money through brown, weitering etc: and go premiums in mid to score bigger early on.

I'm sure I'll change my mind the next 2 weeks around 55 times!

Fyfe although expensive is still worth it in my opinion. I didn't start with him last year and it took me ages t get him in.
Ablett and Rockliff are a must. Then it's if I pick Danger or not!

And of course Shaw smashes out 127 last night. I was hoping Shaw and Fyfe would start slow but that doesn't look like happening. GnR he we come!

What are peoples thoughts on Dusty? Will the situation with his Dad affect him and subsequently his scoring?
