Hogg Round 6 - Learning to Fly

The Victorian teams are learning to fly but the Crows are certainly not flying as one. What new calamity awaits us this SuperCoach round? It's like the whole planet has been infected with this deadly disease or something!

Any chance Pies players can get through a day without something stupid or any chance some rookie defenders get a gig this week? Have it at here boyos!

regards,

REB

Yeah sure do, but the bar is low...i'd be happy with only having to use one trade through need...rather than both like the last few weeks

This season is showing why the '2 trades per round' rule is absolute crap. Should be allowed to burn the quota as you wish.

Could we re-title this thread 'Learning to Cry' REB?

Seeing as I'm naming them after songs this year I'm open to 'crying' song suggestions. My Straycat Strut side has been in the wars right from the start. Going so badly there I haven't even cracked 2 grand yet. Embarasking.

I could start with the Big O. "Crying....over 2 (trades)"

OMG that is bad, have you played before?

sc in a normal season should be 44 trades, use them when you want. You'd still have people with no trades left 6 weeks out.
Was liking the 3 trades a week in Fantasy.
There;s still skill involved in getting players in as they rise and judging if they are going to be 3 week wonders or genuinely have break out seasons. and dumping premos losing a heap
Andrew Brayshaw is the current question mark.
Ridley was the riddle 2 weeks ago
Butler as well

Initial squad was garbage. When I started to recover bad luck hit. Having a barry crocker mate.

yep success all comes down to getting it right from the start.

Im working on operation get Maxy. Can take him this week or next without sacrificing too much, looking at moving on a mid price fwd to achieve it. Providing there is no real bad scores from players i want to move on ill get him with about 20k spare

30 trades is what defines SC from that Fantasy dross, sorts the men out from the boys, rewards the players with guile and intestinal fortitude.

Two donuts in my back half this week and nothing I can do to fix it til next round, so gonna have to hope I can maximize the C .. Days, take Neales 134 or Grundy, Gawn, Mitchell, Cripps or Boak?

The backline is pure horse shit this year, the two certainty rookies played round 1 and haven't been seen since, I'm taking donuts back there because if I burn a trade I'll only score 35 or something like that anyway.

Had to use both my trades yesterday before most teams were announced and pretty sure I can’t reverse them once the round has commenced?

No, it's true...you are unhappy to be stuck with two....

I think Grundy or Gawn are safe bets, forget the others.
You would normally bank a 134 but the ruckman can go 160. What do you think the worst case scenario is for one of those rucks, 110-120? Way up that 10-20 point potential loss to the upside of a big big score from one of them. If you dont like the ruckman to go big I'd be banking Neales 134 100% over the other mids you mentioned.
