This is the field for Hogg Division IV and Pigs Arsenal are ready to boss this league. However, the Boss is everywhere so that means no promotion for that Hogg. It's the top ranked teams who look likely to be promoted of course but I reckon the bolter could be Young's Young Ones in this division. While Lightning is bringing out the 1989 hits it might not prove an accurate prediction for The Bye's fortunes in Divvy IV this season. According to the seedings the only way is Down. Should have posted a Status Quo pick. The promoted side is The Jellyz who will prove to be a an unpredictable opponent who has an eye to high scoring PODS. Not sure how Flagpies are still down here but they'll be looking to swoop on a promotion I'm sure. A big lift is needed from Robsquad who have been flirting with relegation for a few seasons now...look out Rob!
League season average: 50125
League weekly average: 2179
Down a bit because Gingernuts got promoted.

Been a long wait for the eighteen team leagues but we finally got under way in Division IV with Port Power Champs getting pole position after the first round after a thumping victory over an underwhelming Fantasy Virgin. Flyspies are expected to be one of the teams to threaten for a promotion spot and thy were true to form with another big win over Centrals. Lightning was speed as his The Bye racked up an impressive 2147 which would have been respectable in any Hogg division. Youngy the unlucky team to cop the scoring barrage in the season opener. Leading scorer in the league so far this season is Dream Team and they’d be happy with a tough win over Dodge the Hodge who put up tough resistance. The Knights also carded a good score when they eclipsed Robsquad with the lucky winners of the round included West Coast Wonders who shaded fellow promoted side Biker Babes while The Jellyz came from behind to sneak over the line against Star Midfield. One team who scored well when it didn’t matter but failed to fire when points were on the line was Go Tiges who were thrashed by Brads Rookies.

Has Steven Dank been down to Divvy IV and supplying formerly average teams with performance enhancing substances? What other conclusion can be arrived at after the Gilligan’s Gang posse smashed out 2300s when the rest of us where battling to get 2100. Several teams punched far above their weight which means there are some lopsided percentages on the ladder at the present. Either these blokes have the same team with the same skipper or it’s witchcraft I tells ya! It will be interesting to see if these PEDs are of the long lasting kind or if the benefits peter out like a Gold Coast Suns season….stay tuned folks.

It’s all coming up Millhouse for Flys Flagpies this year. Unbeaten and on top of the ladder, Fly is also the number one ranked team in the Hogg as they set the pace for an incredibly competitive Division IV this season. This is the best Division IV we’ve ever had with plenty of high-ranking teams battling it out for promotion. There are going to be a few unlucky sides this season having to repeat school next year. Judging on last week’s form Star Midfield will not be one of those. Star smashed un unlucky Biker Babes who are bit stiff to only have the one win from their three starts as they’ve been scoring really well this year. Star Midfield was top of the pops with their 2548 which would not have been out of place in Premier League this round. High scoring Dream Team also topped 2500 to get a much needed win to square the ledger at the expense of the battling Bulldogs. Other sides who are also struggling are the husband and wife teams Fantasy Virgin and West Coast Wonders with the former Hogg premiership winners looking down the relegation barrel.

Fly’s run as best team in the Hogg and top spot in Divvy IV extended for another week after smashing a struggling Fantasy Virgin by 266 points in Round 5. Star Midfield are also travelling nicely in second and like the league leaders they won their match handsomely as well with Robsquad copping the flogging. The Jellyz hit back from an unlucky loss last week to move into the top eight as they upset Dream Team and snaffled their top eight spot in the process. CDFC also rewrote the script this week when they racked up a decent score to put the heat on Biker Babes who missed the chance to escape the relegation zone against the bottom team. This leaves West Coast Wonders and Fantasy Virgin as vulnerable sides who aren’t quite up to snuff in what is an unexpectedly competitive Division IV this year.

The Pies are flying in Division IV after setting a cracking pace for the first six rounds of the season. Fly’s unbeaten pies are one of the top teams for the Hogg and are a hot favourite for being promoted to Division III at the very least next season. Star Midfield are also having a top season only one match behind and also scoring much better than they have in previous seasons so a breakout season for them in SuperCoach this year. Some of the other top eight sides hit the wall a bit with The Jellyz and The Bye knocked out of the eight and Pigs Arsenal and Youngy also coming to grief. Dream Team are deservedly back in the top eight and Dodgey is lurking menacingly outside of the 8 as well. Amongst the stragglers West Coast Wonders and the Bulldogs got the vital four points as they attempt to avoid the drop into the bunny bowl for next season. For some reason, fifth ranked scorers Biker Babes can’t seem to buy a win and they somehow face the drop. Surely she gets amongst the wins soon.

Fly absolutely doing it on the bit in Division IV and after seven high scoring rounds it appears that everyone else is playing for second. Star Midfield are almost matching the Fly for consistency only one game behind and it was another win for them on the weekend with a squeaker over Go Tiges. The rest of the comp is struggling for consistency and no better example than Pigs Arsenal who where points pigs this week and complete arse in Round 6. The Knights were the team on the wrong end of the Pig points sway. Quite a few of the lower ranked sides got up this week to put the heat on a few teams nervously looking over their shoulders at relegation. West Coast Wonders, Biker Babes and Fantasy Virgin all got up with the Bulldogs dumped flat on their stumpy tail after a shock loss to Virgin. Biker Babes scrambled out of the relegation zone and dropped the Tiges right in with Jellyz another team looking wonky.

Star Midfield were the headline act this week in Divvy IV after they handed out a 237-point thrashing to Port Fever. Fly remained unbeaten but not before Stickers gave them a run for their money in a high-quality contest. Pigs Arsenal’s yo-yo like form continued with West Coast Wonders the unlucky side to get the good Pigs who no doubt will stink it up this week. Dream Team and Youngy are back in form while The Jellyz have gone back into the eight after looking over their shoulders at the relegation fight the week before. The Knights have lost their way as has Hodgey who looked to be on he march for a while there. Rob will be happy his squad snuck over the line against the Biker chick while the Bulldogs got off the bottom of the ladder with a smashing of Go Tiges who are now on the endangered species list.

Fly has suffered their first reversal of the season after they were knocked off by Pigs Arsenal in the top of the ladder clash in Round 10. If you are getting 2 grand this week you are going better than ok and Pigs managed that to end Fly’s unbeaten start to the season. Other teams to do well include The Bye who are currently in top form and The Knights who have bounced back after a few iffy weeks with an excellent 2100 that topped the class and left the battling Jellyz grasping at thin air. Star Midfield was another top side to get done when Youngy cleaned them up to get their top eight spot back. West Coast Wonders got a vital win as well when they cleaned up Port Chumps to stay a game clear of the relegation zone. Not so good for the better half though as Virgin is now a game behind the rest and looking one of the favourites to rejoin Division V next season.

Fly has gotten back on the Horse with a thumping win over top eight Brads Rookies to re-establish their dominance in Hogg Division IV (and the overall Hogg scoring) this season. Pigs Arsenal proved to be the main threat to Fly after they dismantled third ranked Star Midfield who did not live up to their name on the weekend. Great work by @rd and @Lightning McQueen who are having pretty good seasons in the Hogg this year with The Bye currently in the top four and Robsquad making an appearance in the top eight. It was a massive win for The Bye who defeated a pretty handy outfit in Dream Team to grab their top four spot. A few bottom ten teams got vital wins with Hodge, Jellyz, Biker Babes and CDFC all grabbing a much-needed win. The Knights are back at the table as well after a comfortable win over West Coast Wonders. Six to play with a couple of decent sides sitting outside the eight. Decent league this one.

The number one ranked team in the Hogg continued their Divvy IV domination after Fly did a number on Port Power Chumps who are sitting precariously in the relegation zone after twelve rounds. It really was a week for the top sides with most of the top eight getting the job done with The Jellyz joining in to put some heat on the contenders. The only contender to have a misstep this week was Star Midfield who have lost their way in recent weeks. A few weeks back the Stars were sitting pretty in second but now they look like an optional extra as far as finals are concerned after their latest defeat to Brads Rookies. There are seven teams auditioning for Divvy V next season and Go Tiges look a favourite for the drop after they were pantsed by Fantasy Virgin to go to the bottom of the ladder. If Virgin can keep that up then Amy will avoid the drop but lets see how she goes this week eh? The Bulldogs and Wonders were pumped so there are a few teams that might not make finals that still have plenty to play for. Along with Fly it looks like The Bye, Dream Team and The Knights are looking good for an address change next season remembering that Pigs Arsenal cannot be promoted.

Premiership contender Star Midfield had lost their way in recent weeks but roared back into form in Round14 only to go big and lose as they slipped to defeat to The Knights in a high quality contest. Fly extended his lead over the league when Pigs Arsenal had a dirty day copping a defeat to battling Biker Babes. Youngy smashed out a massive 2416 to annihilate the previously in form Robsquad while Fantasy Virgin gapped the relegation gang with a solid win over The Bye. Hodge has proven themselves the best of the chasing pack when they dismissed The Jellyz in a round where a few of the lower ranked sides got victories. Five of the bottom eight teams won which is bad news for the current bottom three who all missed out. Suddenly these teams look likely for Division V next year but all hope is not yet lost with three matches to play.
