This would be like a young bloke in Aussie Rules getting drafted by Port Power.

No way.
Gets to play on the worlds biggest stage each week.
An impressive showing in the EPL would put clubs around the world on notice. Reading is just a stepping stone for the young gun

Nice win by the Mariners at Paramatta Stadium this arvo. Great to have Danny McBreen back and kick 2 goals. Great crowd although the dickheads starting throwing bottles and flares on the ground at one stage.
Gap at the top now 4 points.

CCM do a great job and embarras many established sporting clubs in Aus on how to run a club on a shoestring budget.

Funny old game today in Launceston, Central Coast 1 - Melbourne Victory 1.
Melbourne missed a penalty in the first half and the Coasters got their sole goal in the 2nd half from a penalty.
Melbourne dominated most of the first half.
If Adelaide United can get some better form away from home top spot is there for the taking with the Central Coast going to be so unsettled in the next few weeks losing players like Ibini and Ryan to trials and Rogic possibly permantly.
Unfortunately the Mariners do well up till about this point every year where loss of players/trials hurts them but that's what you get from not being a rich club.

Missed the entire second half, but throughout the 1st half MV had CC under control

MV would be kicking themselves to only get a point from this game, on that alone

Good result for the Reds.

Sydney off the bottom after scoring two very late goals to defeat the Heart 2-1.
Amazingly they are now only 2 points out of the Top 6.
Phoenix now bottom
