The Newcastle v WSW game was entertaining. Why do refs love the feral WSWs so much?

For the second time this week a former Red has signed with another team stating they didnt receive an offer to come home. Daniel Mullen was the first now Sasha Ognenovski. Would loved to see Sasha back in a red top rather than a Sydney FC top.

I'll be the first to admit I don't know a lot about soccer but gee that 2nd goal from Adelaide was awesome work. On the back of what seemed like a great 10-15 min period.

3-0 after Jeronimo taps one in
7 minutes to go
All sorts happened before the game with members of The Cove removed from the stadium for holding up a We want Farina gone banner. More members left at half time to chant outside the ground.
Another fan was removed for running down to the fence from their seat to throw a liquid over Farina

Can't believe that banner got taken away. The fans have a voice for a reason, they shall not be silenced!

Got a good news story out of the Mariners today, hadn't received some Tshirts my son and I wanted to wear for the Friday night game in Adelaide and they said they'd been sent by Australia Post but had been up as in transit for a week, they gave me the Team Manager's name and number and said they'd get him to bring them down and organise for the entire team to sign them for my son too. Thank you Mariners, now I just need no more 4 nil drubbings!

Great news with the new NPL getting the green light. This is the new second tier National comp. Stoked that Adelaide City and West Adelaide are the two clubs from SA that will be in it. Hopefully in a few years time it will lead to Promotion/Relegation and we will see the might of Juve back where they belong
