was a very good game to watch. given the heat it was pretty high quality, and in fact the heat helped it as a spectacle imo because the game was very open from the beginning

Looking at United's draw after the break there is a serious chance they can be entrenched in the top 2 with 5 weeks left in the season. Played all of the top 4 teams twice already so hopefully after freshening up we can hit our straps.

Good luck to Mabil too. The sooner we get more young blokes to Champions League clubs the better Australia will be in 4 years time. Let's hope they pick him up.

That young Perth lad is off to AS Roma next year too, looked dangerous when he came on

De Silva is a real good talent. Hope im wrong but I cant see him doing well in Italy, probably one of the worst comps in the world he could go with his game style. Much more suited to the EPL or Primera. The good thing is Roma are a pretty decent sized club and should get to play in some real big Serie A and CL games

It helped that we played the final that week and probably hit the piss midweek. Not ideal preperation especially in an away fixture.

Newcastle today defended worse than any A-League team I've seen, including NQ when we beat them 8-1 and the unforgettable NZ Knights. The last goal was amazing, they were just inviting Isaias to shoot. No pressure at all.

Was a super finish though and zero chance any keeper would save it. I was there for my first game for a long long time (good night to pick) and sat right next to the cheer squad. I was right in line with Isaias and the upright and watched it all the way in, as soon as it left his boot it was a goal, magic.
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Precisely, the Jets defenders backed away inviting him to shoot.

A-League Season 2014/15

Postby Jim05 » Tue Jan 27, 2015 9:49 am

Was told by a very reliable source that Fabio Ferreira has walked out on the club and wont play again. United are looking to sell him in the transfer window

Yes but that says we are looking at moving him on due to squad numbers. This person told me that Ferreira had an issue with player/s and walked out. Completely differant
