The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Thought that Del Piero played well for Sydney today, including scoring from a free kick

Results today

Sydney Fc 2 -3 Newcastle Jets

30,000+ in the stands, good game of football and the FFA will be loving the fact both Marquee signings scored. Del Piero from a free kick about 25-30 yards out, over the wall beat the keeper at his near post in the top corner (keeper was never gonna get there) and Heskey from the top of the 6 yard box, cross came in and he swung his leg around the defender (ala Torres v Arsenal), Was a good back and forth game and well worth the price of admission.

Brisbane Roar 5 - 0 Melbourne Victory

Brisbane absolutley destroyed them, it very well could of been 8,9-0 the Tards looked like the had no idea of what they where doing or how to play football.

Big Theo makes saves the penalty and tells Jeronimo "you're shit ****" then the next 1 on 1 he gets beaten by the same bloke..... Jeronimo can seriously play.

1 good thing has come out of Berisha's dive/falling over in the GF is that 2 players have already been booked for diving this season...

Until Kossi starts punishing these jokers nothing will change. Have seen better defending at schoolboy soccer.

Actually Boogard didn't expect Golec to let it through. Played well Golec but still got some way to go.
