2012/13 A League GF - WSW v CCM

Postby Wedgie » Sun Apr 14, 2013 7:45 pm

This should be a huge game, will probably be a sellout with at least 30,000 Western Sydney ferals.
Convincing win by the Mariners today but still have an ACL game this week.
Personally Id have my juniors play in the ACL game.
Poor Montgomery got a red card in the 90th minute to miss out to n the GF but WSW had a similar story on Friday night.
Either way were going to have a new champion and I'm already proud of my Mariners having another good year on a shoestring Budget.
Go Mariners!

Games now a sellout. Will be an insane atmosphere but I doubt we'll able to hear the mariners fans over the ferals.

Nah mate. Used to be bad enough at the soccer with Melbourne Croatia fans, these Western Sydney ferals will make them look like boy scouts!
Plus I would have been too torn if I was in Sydney this weekend with the Cats playing at the SCG at exactly the same time as he Tahs next door at the SFS on Friday night.
Also 2 weeks away from another OS trip so saving pennies.
Love the Mariners but soccer is well down the list of current priorities.

Not much mate. We've only been minor premiers twice and never had a Grand Final all at home, our team is also on about half the wages of an Adelaide United so I still stay proud of their achievements.
As long as AU don't win the championship I always look upon the season as a success. :D

Mariners dominating, if it was a footy game we'd be 6 or more goals up, this is one thing I hate about soccer, when luck can dictate so many results. Fingers crossed the Mariners can hold on Awesome header to put us until but we've got plenty of time to choke yet..
West Sydney ferals dropping flares everywhere and were very disrespectful during the national anthem.

Finally! :D

Spend half as much money as Adelaide United every year on players and we win a championship before they do, that is oh so sweet! :D

Even better doing it in front of so many ferals.

You dont even spend half. Has your dodgy club even paid its players yet? ;)
Well done to the Mariners but you know my thoughts on finals in soccer

Our players would play for nothing. ;)
We've won 2 premierships, they mean nothing, absolutely nothing.
This championship means everything! :D
