Victory with a late win over Sydney last night.
Half time at Gosford and Adelaide United and Central Coast are nil all. Adelaide with probably the best of the first half but the Mariners have Hutchinson, Kim and Simon on the bench playing a juggling act with ACL games either side of this final.
Come on Mariners!

As predicted the Mariners get through our flimsy defence.
We dont look like scoring so hard to see us equalising

Well we didnt deserve to go further. 5th and 6th placed sides have no right to progress, we were lucky to make finals and ran out of legs at the end of the season. After winning 1 of our first 10 I was happy just to make finals. Reckon we are 2 players off winning the league, urgently need 2 defenders so we can get rid of Boogaard and Watson.
Hopefully the Wanderers can win it from here

What a great goal for Ibini. Don't like our chances next week not getting back from Japan till Friday and the FFA refusing to swap games around. A great night though, awesome win for Australian soccer fans and we'll all be hoping they can do something miraculous against the ferals next week.
So proud, that Adelaide City spirit lives on in the national comp! :)

Its something A-League clubs need to get used to.Adelaide played in Perth and then had to take 2 flights to Uzbekistan midweek before a 26hr return journey to Brisbane to play. There is a simple solution and that is to give up this stupid idea of finals. Brisbane won the league, we finished 6th, that should be the end of it

Whilst im the first to agree we have choked massively in the past I dont consider this year was a choke. Finished 6th and its very hard to win a 1 legged playoff away.
After 12 games we were bottom and 14 points outside a playoff spot with only 1 win.
Good job to make it, still have a couple of duds that need to be shown the door.
Gombau has us on the right track IMO

Sad but very proud of my club with the loss of so many players, coaches and the ACL fixtures, a gallant performance.
Love my Mariners to death.
At least the FFFA will be happy.
