wasnt sure where to put this one but thought we could start a thread about players OS that we wouldnt necesserily give much attention to.

i was scrolling through the Potters website and found this interesting article

http://www.stokecityfc.com/news/article ... 19731.aspx

'Chris Marques – A 16-year-old goalkeeper who measures in at 6ft 2in and arrives from Sydney, Australia.'

heres hoping the young man can make a name for himself.

i didnt think too much of Taggart but hopefully this move will help him to become a decent striker to maybe go part of the way to replacing Timmy. Good on him, be nice to see more Aussies get over into the top English leagues

The Newcastle Jets have agreed terms for the transfer of midfielder Josh Brillante to join Italian Serie A Club ACF Fiorentina, subject to a medical.

Brillante will travel to Italy this weekend to finalise his move to the Europa League outfit.

Thats two Newcastle players in the past fortnight to sign at top flight clubs overseas.

Jason Davidson has signed at West Brom for 2 years.

I really liked him at the WC so Hopefully can crack the first team and get a good run in.
