Fergie's continual presence around the club is probably part of the problem.

Having such an illustrious predecessor casting a critical eye over proceedings from the stands can't be helping Moyes.

Cant see why it would be an issue.
Fergie doesnt pick the side or make the terrible tactical blunders.

United finish 1-0 up at FT for a 2-2 agg but no away goals rule in league cup.
In ET DeGea with a last minute howler gifts what looked like the winner to Sunderland but Hernandez levels it 20 seconds later with the last touch of the game. Off to penalties

That was the worst display of penalties ive seen. Both sides couldnt hit the side of a barn.
Another trophyless season for Moyes, on ya bike and faark off

Did he not win the Community Shield?? There is a trophy Jim
I cannot help but laugh at this... it is great to see DM failing after he left Everton to go to a more reputable club to win trophies. Will be sweet if Everton qualify for Europe and Man Utd miss out, even if it is the mickey mouse comp in Europe!
All that aside a 2-1 scoreline for penalties is astonishing. 3 out of 10 went in wow

lol, there is some rumour getting around on facebook about some mancs fan was at the carling cup game mid week. He was drunk and whilst drunk, he rang the police, and said there was a missing person and if the police could find Alex fergie and contact Manchester United Football club, that would be great :D
