Already promoted mate along with yo-yo albion.

Toons only need a point at Plymouth to win the title.

Results for Saturday

West Brom 2 Middlesbro 0
Blackpool 3 Nottm Forest 1
QPR 0 Cardiff 1
Leicester 4 Watford 1
Swansea 3 Barnsley 1
Reading 6 Peterborough 0
**** 3 Bristol C 0
Ipswich 1 Doncaster 1
Derby 1 C Palace 1
Coventry 1 Preston 1

WBA are promoted along with Newcastle

A big win for Blackpool to keep them in with a shout. It really is between Blackpool and Swansea now for 6th. Swnasea winning yesterday has kept them in the playoff's

Personally, I would put money on Leicester to make it 2 promotions in two years. Forest are shakey, and I don't think any of Cardiff, Swansea or god forbid, Blackpool are good enough.

come on blackpool ;), maybe if they get promoted they can finally finish up grading that I guess you call it a stadium
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Worse ground than Accy Stanley's

Speaking of worse grounds, Stevenage Borough will be playing league football next year after winning promotion from the conference. They won it a couple of three years back but couldn't go up because of the standard of thier stadium.

I wonder if the same rules would apply to slackpool. Ahhh, blackpool, what a dump, and that's not just the stadium.

well when i was there last there was only 2 sides to the stadium and a small temp stand where the other major stand should off been, and a carpark behind the goals, max cap would off been 9000 tops surley they couldnt get promoted if that work wasn't finished/started.

There is a new stand where the car park was, but as far as I can see, they still have the Gene Kelly stand opposite the main stand.

The facilities are crap too, just a portaloo for the away fans and a mud slide in front of the away stand (Gene Kelly stand) and along to the one and only food outlet.

somehow I just can't imagine them entertaining Man U

I don't think the new stand is open yet so the capacity would still be around 9,000 which is more than enough for slackpool

Considering where we came from at the start of 2008 / 2009 our first (abnd hopefully only ever season in the third tier of English Football), to go up comfortably as L1 Champions and build on that to now be on the brink of qualifying for the CCC playoffs would be a fantastic achievement and anything can happen from there.

Whilst never having played at the "new" Wembley, LCFC have been involved in 3 or 4 of the most memorable Championship playoff finals through the 90's at the "old" Wembley including a couple of last gasp winners which saw us go up to the Premiership.

C'mon you foxes!
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.
