Spuds becoming , like Arsenal a feeder club. Big european teams buy our players every transfer window.

The sale of Modric is good business for Spurs as he can be replaced and is not not worth the 32 million but we do need to spend the money wisely on a striker.
Yids have always been a feeder club but then again so is every other club in the England bar Man U , Man City , Chelski at the moment.

All talk - as usual with Arsene. He has just now stated - we have diaby and Whilshere returning, rosicky coming back, so we dont need anymore players or transfer. Yes.....this is great Arsene, but again, as usual, before and during the trasnfer window you have continually stated - We are in the market for some more players before the end of the deadline.

same shit, different day (or transfer window) with Arsene.... :(

Rumours that he has told Arsenal he will stay but will only sign a 1 year deal.
Where has the money from RVP gone?
If I was an Arsenal fan id be a little underwhelmed with the transfer window, thought Dempsey would have been a good fit at a good price or even someone like Yossi on loan.
Arsene obviously has faith in the squad but if Arsenal dont qualify for Europe the end could be near for him

Again - board wants to see the profits, fans want to see trophies. Fans(me) want to see the team gel together for a few years, again, Wenger is forced to sell from the board to make money.

Arsenal maybe in a strong financial position, not is crippling debt like other clubs, but its getting frustrating, not winning anything.

The money has gone to probably the new houses, and hot dinners for the board members.

Plenty of pissed off Liverpool fans around the world from what I'm reading .. Rodgers made it clear he wanted more firepower and goal scorers, but he shipped Carroll off and failed to land any further signatures before the deadline closed.

Borini will take time to find his feet (and might not be any good anyway??) and if Suarez goes down, the Reds are in huge strife.

Offloaded some spuds though, Spearing is Conference standard and Charlie Adam is average. Said at the time I was happy he didnt come to us.
Must be a kick in the teeth for Liverpool that Yossi and Dempsey went to other clubs after being reported to be headed there.
Carroll is a very strange decision indeed

Sadly Spearing is on loan, but I agree good to have him and Adam out .. Personally I reckon the owners had spent a bit in recent seasons and are probably just trying to level the foundation a bit, apparently the wages bill has been dramatically reduced.

I guess a lot of Liverpool fans have bemoaned the fact for years that none of our juniors (many of whom have been promising) have been given a chance .. Well I reckon we might see a few of them this year lol.
