if they lose this weekend, it will be 2 points from 5 games

poor return for a new manager, will be interesting to see if the manager lasts much longer if they dont get the rsult they want on sunday

Not sure how much they can blame the Manager for the start ... The squad is substandard, and the owners/Ayre let him down on that front.

Similarly, given how much the owners have looked to reduce costs to get close to having a return on their investment, I'm not sure they would be wanting to pay out a contract (on top of having already paid out Dalglish's contract) and replace him.

I'm not hitting panic stations yet, as soon as the Transfer window was shut I knew we'd finish well off the pace, and I'm not concerned (yet) that we'll find ourself in relegation territory.

I can live with a season of being down if it's part of a rebuilding process that might lead to genuine improvement down the track .. But I don't think we'll know that until the following season.

liverpool were ones for not turning over managers a few seasons ago due to performances, but recent season we have seen it there.

A few seasons ago it wouldn't happen because the old owners didn't want to pay Rafa out .. Eventually they couldn't handle him being there any longer so they canned him and signed Hodgson.

Dalglish was an emotional selection by the new owners looking to immediately endear themselves to the faithful, so they started by moving Hodgsin on and appoint ing Kenny .. Rodgers would be in dangerous waters due both to results and a few disparaging (toward owners and hierarchy) comments he's made as a rule, but I really don't think they'd want to replace him and pay him out.

I sincerely hope they don't, because any money spent in doing so would come out of the transfer kitty and it's pretty obvious we need more players.

Roy Hodgson was a good manager, they should have stuck with him

Not cut out to manage big clubs with ambitions though.

It is part of a safety drill, the groundstaff get into position for a mass evacuation.
I asked this when I attended a game there in 2006 because it was really loud.
Then again the Scouse pricks could of been lying to me

Suarez again. Liverpool are in a lot of trouble if he gets injured.
Ok, actually Liverpool are still in trouble at present
Another great goal from Suarez against Chelsea. Having a stellar season for the Reds

Carragher says that Suarez is the best player in the EPL

"I've felt for 12 months he's the best player in the league because he's not playing alongside the kind of players the Chelsea players can play alongside. He's one of the best players in world football and we are delighted to have him."

Liverpool's 2009 CL game against Debrecan at Anfield is one of the games under investigation for match fixing.
Its believed Liverpool had no part to play in the fixing or result

The bet was that Liverpool were to score 3 goals apparently, but they were so rubbish they could only manage 1 in a fixed game.
