I'm loving that you're giving me so much credit for this rumor. You make it sound like I'm making it all up.

Just posting what all the papers are saying mate. Just like I did with Ronaldo, Berbatov, Robbie Keane, Adebayor, Tevez and all of Chavski's transfers.

But this one is great because you're pumping me up like I'm an ITK or something. Loving it!

P.S. Spurs are Champions League mate. We're set for the 3rd round of Champions League qualifying.

Don't hurt your neck looking over your shoulder!!

Here's another one of my FAB rumours:

http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/spain-primera-division/news/1003767/Barca-patient-over-Fabregas

Barcelona corporate director general Joan Oliver has confirmed the club has been in contact with Arsenal regarding Cesc Fabregas but insists it has not yet made an offer for the Spain midfielder.

Having sealed the services of Valencia hitman David Villa in a 40million euro swoop last week, Barca`s focus now appears to be set on bringing Fabregas back to the club where he learnt his trade as a youngster.

Barca has long been linked with the 23-year-old midfielder, who was at the Catalan outfit before moving to Arsenal seven years ago, and speculation has reached fever pitch in recent days, following an admission from Fabregas that he would like to return.

However, according to Oliver, the process of possibly bringing Fabregas to the Nou Camp is only at its initial stages.

"Still there is no offer. It`s true that the player has shown his desire to play at Barca, possibly this season. We have made a first contact with Arsenal, letting them know our intention to talk and this is the current state of the situation," Oliver said on his club`s website.

Oliver also insisted there was no deadline by which time Barca hoped to seal the signing of the Arsenal captain.

"There is no time-frame. The period is from today and until the deadline for registering players at the end of August," he added.

"We are in no rush and you never now how long these operations can last."

Fabregas has come out with a statement today

Had good talk with Wenger who told him to concentrate on the world cup. Went on to say where his future lies is not up to him, whether at Arsenal or another club

I guess this means it's in the hands of his agents

I heard he is signing for Barca but not joining them until 2011 as he can get out of his contract on a free then. Barca will pay up £20m but it will be as a signing on fee and paid to Fabregas directly.

Bi late on my part, but still funny:

Urgent RSCPA notice

If you see any gooners walking their dogs you must call the RSCPA on 42 43 44 as they are hopeless at holding onto leads
