Well lads, somewhat of an Anti-climax was the final round as our esteemed leader the Mighty one, has managed to hold onto his lead at the top to claim this years title!!!

Well done MT!!

Nuggety returned to form in the 2nd half of the year to catch the bouquet, with myself and Pidge claiming the remaining spots in the Champions League ;)

Thanks for an enjoyable season boys and congratulations once again to MT ... Next season will hopefully see the return of our inaugural champion and it will be fascinating to watch MT pit selections against JTC.

OK enough of my BS, here is the final wash up:

[quote="Constance_Perm"]Here we go, lets hope MT79 doesn't find this thread until a few weeks into the season ;)

first of all Id like to thank my family, mum, dad, my gf, the dog, the cat, the fish and also ADAM internet for providing the broadband service to the household.

I would also love to thank CP for trying to get the comp started without my knowledge ;)

Its been a very long season, the start of the season was absolutely terrible, couldnt hit a winner let alone a correct score.

But it was my consistency overall that got me there, I didnt need to hit a weekly high score of a 20 like Pidge or a 17 like CP, these flash in the pan tipsters... ;)

On behalf of all the contestants I would like to thank Constance Perm on doing a wonderful job in keeping the leaderboard updated, very much appreciated.

I think this is the 2nd close season we have had in the EPL tipping and Im sure that this will remain the most elite tipping contest on this illustrious site.

Thanks heaps CP. I'm glad I got the chance to chase you guys into fourth spot. The difference was about as much as the 8-0 win by Chelsea against Wigan in the end. I think I did alright seeing as I really don't follow it that closely.

I'm also glad that my mob, the Rovers managed to stave off relegation (which is where I thought they'd finish) again this year. Next year we should be aiming for top 9 :D

That should be incentive enough to get JTC back to the fold next season, at least he'll have a derby to look forward to ;)

Glad you enjoyed it lads, surprising how quickly the 2nd part of the season felt as if took place ... Pretty sure someone will drum something up for the World Cup in a month or so, so we can keep our hands in before the all important EPL re-commences.
