Alot of those appearance also have been of the bench, maybe up 30-40%.

Considering in his time at West Ham we have been relegated twice its not the worse record going around.

Be happy to have him at Leicester - swap you Beckford for him!

Yeah his abit of a whipping boy amongst the crowd at West Ham as well a bit like Darren Smith from Port or Kynan Ford when he was at Centrals.

Good bit of business here by Moyes i think. Probably best for both player and club IMO. Assuming we got around the 20mil mark for him that means Moyes may be able to bring in 2-3 quality players. I think Donovan on the right will be on his hit list!
Goodluck to Rodwell, has been touted a superstar for a few years now but has not really progressed, now he is around a squad full of world class players he may start to shine!
Would rather lose Rodwell than Baines...

Robin van Persie has signed for Manchester United subject to a medical.
Reported that the transfer cost £15m plus add ons which will bring the deal to around £22m
Medical should be done today and he should lineup against Everton on the weekend

good, now that that is done. Time to move on.

I wish RVP all the best to where he is going. Thanks for the efforts he has put in at the gunners. Like i said, he wanted out, so show him the door.

Far out, I didn't think he'd go .. I really don't think it shows any "thanks" to the club that helped establish him (of course RVP still has to put in the performances, which he was).

Slightly different, but slightly similar to when Torres left for Chelsea .. As a supporter it pisses you off, but if a player dosn't want to be there then bugger off!

Anyway, great get by Man U, they'll win the league again this year.

had no choice really, sell him now, or miss out when he became a free agent in a year.

yes, i am sad to see him go of course, but he refused to sign any new deals, so what could Arsene and Arsenal do??

love to know, where song will end up playing at barca. Not sure they have enough room for him in mid field

but still - 19 million pound transfer, for a player that had 3 years left on his contract. Now that pisses me off!!!!! Other european/english clubs must think we are a laughing stock!!

Spot on, these tossers that head to Barca or Real Madrid soon realise it isnt that great sitting on the bench every week. Will give him 1-2 seasons before he sullks about not getting a game and is shipped off to another league

I wouldnt be too bothered if we lost Walcott. Ever since I saw Ox play that carling cup game when I was in London I've thought he would become a better player. imo
