Hull v Blackpool is on Fox in a few hours too, i believe.

I reckon Hull should finish in the top half. Don't think they'll make playoffs though.

Hull 0 Blackpool 1

Hull started ok, had plenty of the ball, just could exercute it into goals. Well done to Blackpool, good effort for a club that has lost some of its better players over the summer. Excellent atmosphere on opening day of the Championship down at KC Stadium

Disapointing effort against Macclesfield in the carling cup, a 2-0 defeat against a league 2 side, dont like this start to the season, want confidence early on if you want to charge into the premier league.

i reckon you might be right there mate, hull have a habit of starting seasons badly, have to kick off well early, as it is a long season, dont want to fall behind the eight-ball

Could be time to remove the "mighty" from the title LD after a loss at home in the league and then getting dumped out of the Carling Cup by lower league opposition

That's true, but look at West Ham. Even they lost on the weekend.. and at home! Not the best start for them either.
It'll be a very interesting season, that's for sure.

Leeds United 4 Hull City 1

Very disappointing to lose to fellow yorkshire team. Hopefully things turn around otherwise we might struggle to keep pace with the top teams.

Been along time since drinks but the season has progressed well, still in the FA cup and sit 5th in the Championship after a 1-0 away win over 8th placed Reading has really given Hull a real boost for promotion back to the top flight.

Ouch

City need to beat Donny midweek to justify resting those players against Crawley.

Just been looking at Hull City MAD site and not a happy bunch.Seems a few of them wanted a little cup run.

cup run would have been nice, but football is a funny game, how many times do we see these minnows knock off highly fancied opponents in the FA cup. Think theyd be concentrating more on promotion now, want to forget the Crawley match.

Huge game for City this week at home to Brizzle City-3 points a must to keep the play off hopes on track as I can't see them getting much at Birmingham mid week.

Not a Hull fan myself but follow the (mis)fortunes of GTFC but we're not even in the league anymore so I keep an eye on how the other teams in the area are going.

Like they all say if you from the hull area, you only go for hull city. My family is from there so ive just gone for them. Def need the 3 points this week against Bristol, but hopefully they can put a fight up against birmingham, need to keep in touch with the likes of west ham, saints, cardiff and borough. Leicester have disapointed me, thought theyd do alot better thus far with the talent they have on offer.
