I think most of the posts being perceived as "against" Hayne are from posters that do know about and follow the NFL and are annoyed that people that know nothing are grandstanding Hayne like he's conquered the NFL.

Are people forgetting that this is a professional sport, and putting yourself out there, you are inviting people to criticise every snap you play?

He put up very mediocre numbers today, and just because he's done a great and difficult thing transferring sports, it shouldnt mean he gets preferrential treatment over other guys that can walk into that side and perform better.

I hope he does do well, but the media need to leave him tonit for a year or two, or the hypes gonna kill his career.

Hes the 4th RB on a terrible roster. That makes him one of the most cuttable players in the league. The 49ers have made their money off his jersey sales, so if he keeps putting those numbers up while being under the microscope, he wont last long.

Anyone that watches Hard Knocks can see there are hundreds of guys that deserve a shot at the NFL before Hayne does.

I think I nailed it, quite frankly.

So, do I.
I wish him well though

A lot of people on FB are saying "give him time, he will get there". That's not how it works! People assume because he is on the roster he is there for the season. Another performance like yesterday's and he will be doing well not to get cut. LaMike James just got cut from the Dolphins for doing the very same thing.

That's true, but players on the fringe of the rosters are very expendable. There's no such thing as potential, you perform or you're gone.

Wow Payton with an 80 yard drive to tie the game with 30 odd secs left then the Broncos forcing a fumble on the kickoff to return for a TD with 9 secs left! Chiefs blew it big time!

Only took until week 2 this year for the Raiders to get their 1st win unlike week 14 last year.

Great Job by Derek Carr and the offense to get the win.

Just wish 7-Mate would show other teams with 2 of the 3 late games going to the wire while they show the Cowboys & 49ers again

So over this!!!

Its been 8 hours since Fox Sports Australia posted a Hayne.

I think they've cottoned on to the fact that he's gonna struggle.
