St Brendans 1-5 - Taints look a bit up & down, but experience here will be a bit too much for Port
Western 11-15 - too strong for Flinders
Na Fianna 1-5 - an improved Na Fianna effort last week, hopefully to get the job done.

Port 1-5 - After a little Facebook banter during the week port to win a tight one.
Western 16 + too good
Onkas 1-5 - toss of the coin

Taints 1-5 because Port will struggle to come to terms within the fact John Cena was not included the WWE championship tournament and be caught off guard early. This one is probably game of the round.

Goats 6-10. I don't see it being as one sided as others seem to think.

Onkas 1-5. Hoping to get this one wrong.

St B vs Port D: Taints 1-5
"The D" where the only team to beat us last year, smashing us early on in the season. Port have started brightly and have had a heap of numbers out all year, and look to be a team on the up. The Taints have had a premiership hangover, coupled with real actual hangovers and have started up and down, with a decent win over the giant killing Irish Aussies, but last week allowing some kid who is probably in year 11 at Westminster to kick 4 goals against in an ugly loss to Western Ireland. 6 of our players are also battling severe sunburn from having to do match officials all day last Sunday. Having 14 players both games hasnt helped us, however at this stage we should actually have enough players and even a bench tonight! Tho as we all know a lot can happen between now and 8:15pm...

Purple Haze vs Flinders: Haze by 6-10
With a team consisting of 18 gun minors and the 3 x Floreanis (who combine to push up the average age of the team to 30  ) the Goats will probably be too good for Flinders who are still searching for their first W. I havent seen Flinders play this year, but hopefully they take a leaf out of their womens teams book, and start playing some decent football whilst also being rather pleasing on the eye!

Onkas vs Na Fianna: Na Fianna 1-6
Not sure what is going on at Onkas, they struggled for numbers last week, but their lineup still featured a plethora of State guns such as Wadeo, the Conlons, Cratey, Butter Bing, and Rusty etc. However Irish were able to repel their early charge, and really fix them up in the end, if not for Irish's poor point kicking they could have won by 10+. I was impressed with what i saw from Na Fianna, who were very unlucky not to beat Western Ireland. As is often the case with gaelic, in some real key moments late on the ball fell to some of Na F's poorer/newer players, resulting in missed opportunties and the game getting way from them. Also cant not mention dour backman Dan Bryant inexplicabley finding himself bearing down at the WI keeper late on and seeing THE SACK, and his usually reliable solo letting him down and ballooning metres in front of him!

Special mention to the Irish Aussies, who have the bye and i believe have sent a team to Tasmania to play in some Gaelic7s comp? Decent effort!

I heard Port upset the Taints by a point and Onkas and Finns fought out a controversial draw but does anyone have the score from the other game so I can do the tips.

WI v Onkas - WI 6-10, too strong for the rebuilding Onkas
Saints v Flinders - Saints 11-15 to get back on track
Irish v Port - Port 1-5, Port are in good form, but this is without certainty as Irish always seem to lift when the worlds most oversized trophy is on the line

Onka's v Flinders - Onkas 1-5, thinking Flinders might put up a better show, but will fall short of the experience Onka's has left
Na Fianna v Saints - Na Fianna 1-5, Na Fianna were playing some good football before the bye without results & the old foe haven't quite hit the same levels of last year.
Irish v Western - Western 1-5, The every improving IA to fall just short of the cherry picked state minors.

So I found out today we do have a website, there is no more au on the end of it.

gaelicfootballsa.com

Will give me a chance to update the tips eventually, Cash is winning though so I am in no rush ;)

This weeks games all on Sunday to conclude a huge day.

WI v Port
Na F v Irish
Onkas V St.B

Probably much more importantly the modified version of what was known as the Australasian Championship Final happens on Sunday at 12.30pm to conclude 3 days of games between 2 teams from SA and 2 from Prictoria. The SA teams are coached by Adam + Jon Flo and Viva el Presidente Toasty + C Neeson.

Would be good to get down and support the boys. Good luck to both SA teams. Kick a Vic!!!

I cant recall what the hot weather policy says but Sunday's games must be a huge chance of being cancelled? Which would be a shame as there are some good games in there!

Pretty sure i noticed Matt Whippedford return from the Gaelic abyss for Onkas last week...??
