Reckon Green won the the first 5 comfortably and Mundine the last 5.
Mundine cost himself the fight by not throwing many in the first 5 and just happy to dodge blows, Green landed plenty in the first 5.
I still had Mundine just but he didn't deserve to win for being a coward

For mine Mundine was the only one that ever looked the winner

After 5 rounds I said to my son that Green was up by a dozen but by the end I thought Mundine had shaded him

Green was comfortably better in the first half of the fight but Mundine probably better in the second half.

Shithouse fight really glad I din'y pay anything to watch that no doubt a rematch for the decider now in the works.

One thing tonight did prove I believe is that Mundine is the better fighter

When they were at their 'peak' Mundine schoole Green

10 years later with the weight issue Mundine was still ultra competitive and arguably won it

Throw in the fact imho Green has aged better remembering Mundine for x amount of years was playing the brutal game of league week in week out 6 months a year

the judge who scored it 94-94 is bang on. I was saying to my mates after 5 that Green would be winning, he was being more aggressive and pushing the action, and although his shots werent as clean, they were landing first rather than sitting back and waiting like Mundine was doing, but Mundine clearly won the last 4 rounds. 98-90 though? cmon....

spot on.
the vibe after was Mundine had won, but how much of that was due to the last 5 rounds in the memory that he dominated.

I felt Mundine had just done enough to win, the crowd thought the same.

Jack was the highlight, and would've loved to have seen him sing the National Anth3m.
Mauboy was boring as batshit, and the stage location and angle was strange, out in no man's land.

He was lucky not to be disqualified. Was only the dirty hit in the first that kept it at a contest otherwise he wouldn't of seen out 3 rounds

LOL, one judge thought 10-1=10. What a farce.

I wouldnt be supersede if Hubert Minn wasn't investigated / sanctioned for his judging of the fight

Not sure anyone in the world saw that as a 98-90 fight either way

In saying that Green still wins based on the other two judges and none of the three saw Mundine as the winner

Whilst I thought it was pretty even and could have gone either way, I'm pretty sure the 3 judges know more than us armchair experts and made the right decision.

Bahahaha you'd think that would of been corrected before the card was handed in.

Bahahaha you'd think that would of been corrected before the card was handed in.

1 judge calls it as 5 rounds to each boxer.
1 judge calls it 9 rounds to Green, 1 to Mundine
1 judge doesn't even deduct a penalty point from Green
Most boxing experts called 6-7 rounds to Mundine

It has to be corrupt surely as the judges couldn't be that incompetent?

You are acting surprised though, I take it you don't follow boxing regularly?
Surely you know boxing is one of the most corrupt sports on the planet

Wouldn't be surprised if there was corruption due to the financial benefit of a potential third clash!!

Anything goes in the boxing industry

Yeah fair call, I was hoping this fight would be judged fairly but it was false hope.
They could have made it less obvious though.

If it was judged fairly Mundine would of been disqualified first round
