I hope for your sake you're not too tired to enjoy it.
But FWIW, I'd take couple of days off LA and chuck them onto NYC. A lot of LA is a dive and not worth more than 48 hours, and we didn't see enough of NYC in the 10 days we were there.
could not agree more

Yeah that's what we are going to do 3 days in LA and 6 in NYC
Thanks for all the advice guys much appreciated.
As most can probably appreciate trying to compromise and lend advice to your wife when there in a position of power can be very difficult lol

The intinary has changed a little
It's now
LA- 3 days
NYC- 6 days
Lon- 4 days
Bruges- 2 days
Paris- 2 days
Barcelona- 3 days
Madrid-3 days
Rome-3 days
Ill be interested to see how the misses copes with the travel and energy levels.
Personally I should be fine, I work 11.5 hour days. 1 hour of gym 5 times a week and roughly run of 6 hours sleep real well , the misses on the other hand lol
At the end of the day I can't complain as I'm getting a European holiday completely free all expenses including spending money paid for.
What I will learn from this trip will be invaluable as in a fair few years both my girls will turn 18 and 21 in the same year, which we have been saving to do a 6 month complete world trip for. So hopefully lessons will be learnt

As mentioned previously try to stay out of airports, train or boat to spots on your itinerary, see the country side and spend less time waiting. For example I am landing in Barcelona next year then on trains, through Spain, France and into London, then to southern England (hire a car down there) and Scotland (hire a car in Scotland) before getting on a plane again in Scotland to Copenhagen.
