Drago ran 11kms on sunday in 75mins. Best time so far. Weight starting 2 come off again. Tigtening up diet and increasing daily sit ups. Has not been back 2 footy training after ankle swelled up like a baloon. I think 70kg weight is good goal by 6th of may. Drago hasnt weighed that little since year 11 1997!

Great work by the big Russian. 11kms is a very solid run. Good luck to Drago in any forthcoming ASADA hearings.

Dragos took his last duromine yesterday. So today was his first day off them. Final weight today was 81.5kg. So he didnt reach goal of 80kg or run 10kms in under an hour. These are two goals he will work on over the next two weeks. He ran 8.8kms yesterday in 68mins. So still a distance off running under an hour. Now Drago will have 2 keep his good eating habits up. Also exercise routine and stay free from injury. We caught acouple of rabbits 2day so i think he had rabbit stew for tea!

8.8kms in 68 minutes is around the 7.8 min/km mark...that is not running that is walking.

Sustained over more than an hour is fair enough. Gotta start somewhere.

Biomechanical studies show that humans change from a walk to a jog at six km/h as it is more efficient to do so. So 7.8 km hr for most people is a jog.

yes Olympic walkers "walk" much faster than that but they aren't "most people".
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
