MAL stopped at a fast food shop recently and noticed a sign offering FAT FREE FRENCH FRIES.

so he decided to give them a go. MAL was dismayed when the guy behind the counter pulled a basket of fries from the fryer which was dripping with fat. he filled a bag with these fries and put them with the rest of MAL'S order.

"hang on a minute" MAL said "those arnt fat free".

"yes they are" "we only charge for the potatoes....the FAT IS FREE"

King George Whiting is $42/kg, Prawns $25/kg.

went and stood on the scales for the first time for months - 124 kg's - better than I thought as Ive been heavier but still not good - put me down Mal.

I batted for 2 hours today so that should be a good start - although can see myself doing any exercise for 3-4 days they way I feel at the moment!

Bourbons are starting to numb the pain as I speak!

Im going to set small step goals - first up get under 120, Ill then decide what I want to know off next...good luck all

Thanks MAL the support helps..... If anyone wants the oyster deal I can organize it.... scoob rates them highly.... what about razorfish.... scoob sells jars for $10 in vinegar if anyone wants any!!!

Mrs Grub loves me eating oysters..... she thinks they make me happy....BUT ....I usually only buy them when I have a bit of loot (eg win on the horses).... Im happy from winning on the punt ...not from the oysters....dont tell her tho!!!!

if anyone wants some inspiration to avoid fast food/junk food, visit this site:
http://www.mcspotlight.org
or read this leaflet
http://www.mcspotlight.org/case/pretrial/factsheet.html

They provide an alternative to McDonalds propoganda. I'm not 100% sold on what they say (ie pushing the vegetarian line), but it's worth a read for the open minded.

I will start up a separate thread in the General Forum to discuss the (McLibel) case/documentary

AG- will me eating 25 doz. Oysters help me lose weight or gain weight? :?
How long do they keep for?
Let's say I'd be keen for 2 doz. per week (I could find a few interested mates & grab a few more), others here purchase the balance, we probably have a deal.
Are they shucked?

PS- Doz Oysters-
Samtass $10.50 (large)
Woolworths $14.50
