Getting a new fridge delivered today, did all the measurements etc, delivery guys get here and says it wont fit thru the front door, after looking at many other options we worked out there is no way of getting it in the house I presume it is our mistake so they go to pack up then I get up the order and work out it clearly can fit through our door, rush out to catch them before they leave and we work out the store has given them to wrong fridge

So we now have to put back the old fridge, repack it and organise the right fridge to be delivered...ffs

Wonder what would have happened if we could get it in and installed? As this one was an upgrade on the one we have purchased.

When I ordered my last fridge I never considered it not fitting in (I do have an old house ).

The timber door stop takes about 30-40mm off the described opening

My least favourite DIY job by far, hate it, although (not sure if you'd call it painting, probably not) I did re-stain by back deck on Monday and I don't mind doing that, using timber oil/stain is perhaps more forgiving than paint.

Staining the deck is fine by me, the shit bit is the frequency.
