So three men sat in a truck together for 3+ days.

One has nothing.
One has delta covid.
One has non-delta covid.

Does anyone else find that hard to believe.

Sure, the one with nothing might still be building up enough antibodies to test positive, so I'm not too skeptical on that aspect, but for the two that are positive to have different strains seems extremely unbelievable.

Two trucks/vans apparently

2 trucks, 3 drivers - might be why they are being evasive about their movements.

Surely you just grab their phone data? They pretty much know when you take a shit these days, or is it not as simple as that?

Don't think health authorities have the power to sieze such data....

The SHELL SERVICE STATION at TAILEM BEND has been identified as an exposure site, after a COVID positive removalist from Sydney traveled into and out of South Australia.

It's for a period on Friday July 9th between 5.20pm to 7pm.

To be fair it's been an exposure site well before covid ever existed...

You would think people would volunteer this data though?

Wouldn't have to be anything untoward that people might not want seen but you know the old sneaky nude the partner has sent you, the odd text arguing over who was doing the dishes tomorrow night. The junk email from Xtina inviting you out on a date from that porn subscription you had 10 years ago.

I had the AZ shot yesterday whilst at the Dr's for a checkup. Then last night at footy training (wearing sneakers) I slipped and stacked it.

I woke up at 5 this morning with a pounding headache similar to when I'd consumed a litre of red wine. Nearly 7 hours later, I'm achy but I don't know if it's the AZ jab or the stack. Hahaha, serves me right (for not wearing boots).

Whats confusing me & turning me towards daisys opinion is they are giving a 2 hour window of when the 3 guys were at the Tailem Bend Shell & people who were there in that time need to isolate immediately (as well as direct family members) & get tested. When corona first came out the experts/scientists said the virus would hang around on surfaces (cash, door handles etc even pens) for a few days & was why we had to only use cards only when buying stuff.

Now if these guys have the really bad delta strain (5 times more contagious than the original virus, apparently) why is it only a 2 hour window, shouldn't it be more like 5 days. Then imagine (remember those scary graphs we used to get shown) how many contacts & then contacts of contacts would be exposed over that 5 day period just from the shell service station & the house in McLaren Vale let alone everywhere in between those 2 places & Sydney. The whole of Eastern Australia could be infected.

Why can Covid infested people moving furniture here be classified as an essential service but people can't go interstate to say goodbye to dying family members?
We don't have any furniture in South Australia?
Priorities seem ****** up.

Sounds like they refueled at Tailem Bend and then were out of the state in a couple of hours after this, being a Friday night there wouldn't have been many places open in the towns they were going thru anyway.

We stopped for petrol at Tailem Bend coming back from Victoria last week.
Fortunately it was Thursday not Friday and we stopped at the BP not Shell.
I was concerned until I read the details...

Sounds like Victoria on the verge of kicking off again.
1 positive case attended Carlton v Geelong at MCG.
Several new cases linked to removalists
