as manly a dog as that is, no agressiveness what so ever,
but he does try to hump his brother and rolled up blankets n stuff.
and i was told it may stop him from weeing as much inside
hes pretty well toilet trained, but still wees inside occasionally, and i want it to stop

Got pissed off with our maltese/ shitzu spending hours outside and then coming inside and pissing straight away. I'm not sure if de-sexing fixes it up, I just think we have nads for a reason, so do dogs.

I’m in the same boat Johno (nothing wrong with being confident enough in your manhood to strut around with a maltese shih tzu), expect mine is only 4 months so the decision is a little further down the track.
The missus spoke to the vet about it, he said that desexing will turn the dog into a more people orientated dog. As if it is not desexed & does make a litter it can tend to become more dog orientated & can sometimes bring on problems such as challenging to be the alpha in the group.
Generally desexing will mellow the dog out a little more as well & remove some aggressiveness. Not that mine’s aggressive.

Bitches - contraception, dogs - makes not difference as there is always another one around somewhere! ;)
Behaviour - it is always modifiable by good training, so save the money.
My source of any bias: background in dog showing and obedience training clubs some years ago.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

And his great great great great grandfather was a boss as well... how coincidental... Nah it can be pretty interesting especially when you get into the wars and immigration stuff.
