Chuck Wagon - 5 adults and 1 child.

Shared entrees ; 12 Buffalo wings, 12 Sriracha and the large chilli cheese fries
Drinks ; a combination of bottomless soft drinks and my mate had a couple of scotches
Mains ; Piglet burgers, Steak and Cheese, Hot Dog and fries, Chicken Ceaser Salad and I had the Dirty Reuben
Desserts ; Nutella brownie with Icecream and cream and a fried Nutella ice cream

Service was much better as that cantankerous little b&ych wasn't working. The girls are not brilliant but they were nice and pleasant and as it got less busy actually offered refills. No complaints. Food timing was reasonable as they were busy, would have helped ordering entrees. When i arrived my wife and her mate already had us a table and ordered drinks. It was quite loud but sitting inside next to a 7 year and we both enjoyed the decor.

It was good and I was more than full as a fat lady's undies but there is definite room for improvements. We started with the entrees but got no plates which was odd and very messy. Sriracha was better than buffalo and I'm not a huge fan of chilli fries but my 37 week pregnant Wife certainly was. Desserts were very much enjoyed by the 3 girls.

The overall vibe of the burgers was underwhelmed. Arguably we went too hard on entrees. My dirty Reuben was like the sauerkraut tribute sandwich. I had to remove it as it was far too over powering. Not too bad once about 200g of sauerkraut was removed. I had a bite of the Cajun chicken salad and needless to say "You can't win friends with salad"

Cost was $190 for 5 and 1/2. Not outrageous these days but not cheap.

I went round the table and got ratings and they were 6, 7, 7, 7.5, 8.

I know its a red hot favourite on this site but all things considered it gets a 7/10. It's a fun novelty place to eat filled with hipster doofuses and blokes in singlets and beanies obviously unsure if they are hot or cold but I won't be rushing back. My mate has raved about Nord Burger so that's next on the list.

Have you been to 127 Days yet Wristy? I looked back at through the posts in this thread and couldn't find if you have or not, I'm assuming you haven't? I'd love for you to eat there and give a review.

I went there Tuesday arvo and had the Godzilla (with no JalapeƱos and no Tabasco sauce). Yummmmmmmmm, so good! I smashed it, very tasty burger. I liked it more than the Bad Mutha Trucker which I had last time. 9/10

wristwatcher wrote:127 days located @ 127 Days Rd. Croydon. Not only open 127 days a year as my stoner Nephew asked.

It is cute, hip little hidden gems of a venue with air conditioning and music and interesting decor with table and window bench seating. The place looked clean and we were served immediately with all food coming out together in a reasonable amount of time. We all had meal deals for $16 each which came with hashtag chips and your choice of drink which included a good selection of American varieties.

Mrs. Wristy had the mushroom melt. Of the 3 this was the least appealing. A little dry and could have had more bacon. Still good with excellent meat. She gave the meal deal a 7/10.

Stoner mini Wristy had the mother trucker and got some of it in his mouth. In his words "everything on here is f@cken good". 8.5/10

I had "The Cure" and a 2 hour nap when I got home. As previously reviewed it two Angus beef burgers, bacon, cheese , onion and a sweet pleasant contribution of pickles. With the hash tags and a root beer it was fan-bloody tastic. Not sure how anyone could dislike this burger. 9/10

Overall 8.5/10. Definitely recommend. Well done to the posters who already recommended it and great to see a review by Booney when you Google it

The first time I went @Dark Night

Currently my favourite burger place.

Checked their menu and that's next on the list. $13 is very fair too if it tastes good.

Yeah thirteen bucks for the burger was good and 9 for the fries rather than the combo. Full without feeling fast-food disgusting.
What i found interesting was the wide variety in customers, not just American- wannabes.

Mate that looks disgusting.....and magnificent. Eat it with your hands and let the juices drip from your face, in some cultures that's considered sexy :D

The great thing about the Village is you could have a face full of rib stain and teeth full of grissle and it's not really going to hurt your chances of picking up some sloppy milf.

Big night for BMac ;)

Slop in a Box at the Ingle Farm K-mart food court.

Not worthy of a review - 3/10 and I didn't even pay for it.

Quan Ngon on Main North Road Pooraka

Always hits the spot. A nice place to eat at but we tend to go the home order once a month these days.

Fed 3 of us to the brim last night for $67. Pretty standard. They do all the popular favourites and do them well. Never had a bad dish except when my wife orders bloody bok choy.

It's the best Chinese/Asian food around the Ingle Farm and surrounding area for mine. 8/10
