All of their household shit was great, pay a third up front and about $40 per month for a few years and you had some good gear.

What to do.....

Ive just been told my Grandma most likely wont see out the weekend. Do i choose to remember her as a lovely, healthy lady and say my goodbyes at her funeral, or say goodbye in her current state....

Whatever feels right mate. If her current state means she is oblivious to your presence, you can decide without guilt.

Feelin' for you mate.....

I refused to see my Grandma from Dad's side in a nursing home. We even went as a family to visit her and I refused to go inside.

Personally I found it easier when she did finally go as I was able to reflect on the times when she was in a much better state.

Now my Nanna on Mum's side lives in a home too. I think I will do the same but if she comes out to visit on a day/overnight trip would be better than going to see her. Of which see is allowed to do at the moment.

Yes, a hard decision but as booney says each to their own. I had a Grandmother in a home, out to it for years and I wanted to keep the old memories, so I didn't visit.
Worked for me as I still remember her as she was even a few years before going into the home.
That was years ago.

...what the explosion was at Semaphore yesterday afternoon. I was at West Lakes Shore chasing some yellowfin and heard a massive explosion come from down semaphore way which was followed by a large cloud of smoke. After this an army helicopter flew over and some old military planes??

I assume it means open neck shirt and normal trousers are OK - but not torn and/or stained jeans and T shirt, with thongs on the feet...
Dress code? I'd suspect female influence. ;)
