After having 'that talk' with smac jr last night, I now understand that I had it easy back then.

Junior Boon has just come home with a form for us to sign that allows him to be part of his year 6 "Life choices" classes.

Uh oh....there is a thread in this.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Life Choices? Sounds more like one of those "It's OK to be a poof" classes. Don't sign the form Booney!

But yes, there could be a thread. I am now up to my 3rd conversation with smac jr in the last week and there are more coming from what I gather...

How old is he? Mine is 12 and it sounds like his classes are drug and sex related,my advice (but not shared by Mrs.Boon) was to go for both.

Mrs Smac had an annual leave day today and over breakfast this morning I asked her plans. After being informed that she had few plans for the day, I suggested with the clearer weather that the lawns could do with a trim (6 inches high at the shortest and our lawn takes about 3 hours to mow on a good day).

I've just got home from work to discover the lawns mowed.

Unless Jim wore her shoes to mow the lawn I'm pretty sure it was her.

Plus he would have emptied the catcher when he finished, instead of leaving it for me to do last night.

Nup, no whipper snipper either. But the lawn mowing in itself is quite a big job, at a guess our back lawn is 30m x 20m. It's 2 hours I get back this weekend so I am pleased!

Overhearing the staff at Centre management last month at the THE HUB shopping centre being in amazement at the number of people claiming they damaged clothing as they walked past recently painted areas .The poles etc were very clearly marked with those "Solver.. wet paint " signs taped to the floor etc.Not 1 person produced the damaged gear but many asked for vouchers as compensation  .As I was in there signing out keys I suggested for a laugh they wait a week or so and tape 100's of them around the centre with NO painting having taken place for a week. Sure enough I went back today and they were dying to tell me they had 11 complaints including one guy who claimed he took paint back into his new car so rushed down to get it detailed and brought in the reciept for $129.00 and asked for the centre to cover it.  .........dirt bags!!!!!!!!!!

The centre management should collect the names and addresses of the claimants and have them prosecuted for fraud. Now that should elicit a chuckle or two.
