Cheers mate, will give it a crack in the coming weeks. Less than $5 for lunch is gold and if you squint it might look healthy

wristwatcher wrote:Gave Fulham bakery another crack today and it was a solid very good product. The Pork is little fattier but does blend in well if you are taking decent sized bites. A lot of the flavour is in the fat so it was pretty tasty. Roll was good and salad And sauces complimented it well. For $5.50 it was money well spent. Bought one home for Lady Wristy and she enjoyed it also. I'm at a loss as to how I got from Fulham to Ingle Farm without eating hers :)

I was there also today for lunch

got the Combo roll
3 spring rolls
1 dim sim
$11.50

superb!

The bakery inside the Ingle Farm Shopping centre. $6 for a combo roll, plenty of meat, including the best Pork crackle I've had in a dog roll. Rate it very highly

I've tried about 12 different stores. Live in the Farm and work at the Bay with pretty flexible hours. It's not hard to take small detours and try many of them.

I think that place has new owners. Previously you got lettuce and the pork was warm...making for a pretty average textural experience.

Cost?

First trip back to Hoangs on Tapleys Hill in a long time today. $5 for the crispy pork. Solid output as always. No weak points. Pork, roll, salad, sauce and chilli all complimented each other well. Never had a bad one there and the service is always fast and friendly.

Also very close to the loveliest lady you will ever buy beer/booze from in the BWS, she's always happy and glad to see you. Then, just down the road the local "Land of Food" ( Foodland ) and a pretty good fruit and veg shop next to the BWS.

It's a handy little strip along there....( and the pub....)

Best Eggs in the world at that little Fruit And Veg.

I hadn't had a Pup from Hoangs for ages but the missus grabbed me one last week whilst I was sporting one of the best hangovers of my career. Pup was amazing and I immediately felt mildly better for the experience.
