POLICE will allege a man paid another man thousands of dollars to have his leg
amputated with a circular saw.
The 66-year-old victim of the alleged “agreement’’ died as a result of his injuries in a
park in Far North Queensland.
John Yalu was charged with murder after allegedly amputating the man’s leg with the
saw in an “arrangement”.
Yalu, 36, appeared in Innisfail Magistrates Court on Monday after police found the
grisly scene in an Innisfail park at the weekend.
Yalu, from Innisfail, will return to court on June 6.
It is alleged the pair drove to a park at 3.48am on Saturday and the older man’s leg was
allegedly sawn off below the knee. He died at the scene.
Detective Acting Inspector Gary Hunter said the men knew each other, but the nature
of their relationship was still under investigation.
“During my 34 years as a police officer, I’ve never experienced a situation as we are
presented with here,” he said

Remember in 2020 that Queenslander was found with a blokes block and tackle in his freezer after he'd been to Melbourne and lopped them off? They went to his apartment when he'd had a crack at some blokes aggart in a backpackers. Strange place that one.

Price of Coffee.
The Mrs is an addict and has just been advised by her sis that the coffee she has is now $19 for 300g - Nescafe 43 I think it is.
I simply said they should just stick to international roast.... that hasn't gone down well with them

One thing I don't have to worry about, never had a cup of coffee in my life.![]()
Am going to give the lad some $ towards petrol though, doesn't impact us with the missus working from home and me working occasionally ,5 mins from home.
Hard yards for him working in town and living south of Darlington in the sticks.
PS Tell the missus to go into a pokies room and pretend she's playing them, free coffee.

I too am one of these rare people.
Shits me when all the people I work with say "I gotta have my morning coffee then I'll get to it"
Shits me even more is my missus will make 4-5 cups a day but only ever drinks half of it, 100% of the time.
