Anyone know how new car warranties work? Do I have to pay for the servicing? My car is due for it's 1000km service.

Because I didn't buy it brand new it's hard to source an answer.

After going on a long drive over the weekend I seen that I was up to 1300kms, I spent Sunday reading through the manual and discovered that it needed a service after 3 months or 1000km, I shat myself a little and rang the place it was first sold from to check my options.

All was well, it had already had it's first one and they said to bring it in and they'll stamp the book.

Probably only a couple of the track events as I do follow middle distance running.

Maybe see how the marathon goes as the women's team we are sending is pretty strong.

That's probably about it though.

Absolutely... gives our older gymnast girl the opportunity to see Australian gymnasts competing at an international level...

Something to aspire too...

Worthwhile or waste of money?

Be very careful of the terms and conditions.
They were punitive the last time I looked at them
There was a million ways to void it

$1850 for 5 years, that being about 10% of the purchase price. Haven't had time to look at the policy details yet. Just wondering what experience the SAfooty brainstrust has with these.

Seems excessive for mine, I'd be all over the Ts & Cs.

Well, at least as a Port supporter I'd get someone to read it for me.

Its been a while since I looked but I seem to recall that if you go 1 day past the service date, the entire policy was voided.
Also, you had to use their service people. There were some other traps as well. All of them voided the policy ad infinitum
It was a while ago and the insurance consumer laws have changed since Hayne RC but I wouldn't buy it without going through the terms and conditions with a highlighter pen (or probably 2!)

Not as much as it used to!
Used to be at the pub 7 days a week 7 - 9 years ago. Unless I'm seeing a band, usually once a week these days. Don't have the time!
Used to come home and go to the pub, now it's usually go home and take the dog for a walk.
Love going to the pub I used to work at once a week if I can as made some great friends there, all my old customers love me and the love is returned.
