I told you all that yanking would come back to haunt you one day ...

The NRL coverage last night on Ch 9. As soon as the game finished, the Wide World of Sports logo comes on and an ad.

Yep,that was very ordinary of 9.
It's happened in the past and I fully expected them to do it again.
Good game none the less.

a 6 year old being classed as "trans-gender" because she wanted to wear boys uniform to school and was not allowed by the principal.

I'm fairly certain they used to call them tomboys back in the day.

I prefer the mens work uniform to the womens - ergo, I must also be trans-gender

Effing do-gooders :?

Thats ****** up. Now the kids gonna grow up thinking there is something different about her, even though there isn't. Could have a big effect on her life.

In primary school, girls petitioned to be allowed to wear pants to school, like the boys. They got what they wanted.

Fair enough too, they claimed it was so the boys would stop trying to look up their skirts. They were onto us...

What I want to know is who the hell has determined that this child is trans-gender?

Cos I can guarantee you the the kid probably has no idea.

Hell, I never wore skirts, I hated Barbie dolls and I preferred to be playing british bulldogs or kicking the footy outside with the boys - didn't ever make me want to be a boy.

Screw the terrorists - shoot the bloody do-gooders instead.

Is it a case of 'trans gender' being deemed more politically correct than the term 'tomboy'

Pretty shit situation, my daughter loves wearing her west ham kit to casual dress day at school if any one accused her of being trans gender I would shoot them

I'm pretty sure 'trans-gender' relates to more than just what clothing someone chooses to wear

Correct. Although being boiled in a chemical is not a prerequisite to being referred to as "trans gender".

Why would anyone label a 6 year old child trans=gender in the first place? A 6 year old wouldn't have the feintest idea on what they wanted to be - with a fair chance they'll probably grow out of it but the do gooders want to label them like some taiwanese lady boy hooker and scar the poor kid for life.

It's ridiculous.

Apparently they taste good pan seared.

If anyone catches on to that reference, I apologise if it's in bad taste. ;)

Spot on. I've heard stories from trans gender people saying they even knew they were the wrong gender at 5-6 years old so obviously a bit more to it.
