My Grandmas (80) house got rolled at Warradale a couple of days ago. Took some model cars that were here late husbands, but trashed the joint.
I'm not sure there is much hope for society anymore.

Having to use a pre-paid Telstra 4G wifi modem as a temporary solution while working in outer Perth..
Expensive and patchy in response times.

Also irritating was the fact that the plug in version I bought 3 years ago for $180, and used successfully for 14 weeks then, could not be re-activated despite past assurances it would be possible. I had to buy a new device ($120). Both purchases included 5GB data download.

The local technician tried to get the old one to work but the activation process with its new SIM just kept failing. He said there had been problems with reactivating older devices and suggested the new non-plug-in version that allowed multiple devices to connect was more reliable and a better buy now the price had dropped. (They'd been nearly $400 in 2012.).

I went along with it because I didn't have time to muck around

Compensation? Well, they didn't charge me for either $2 SIM and I got two bags of lollies - one for each day I had to drive to the Telstra outlet.

Only going to get worse with SA's unemployment sky rocketing...it will be above 10% in a couple of years when Holden's finally shuts and Subs/Ships go

Add to that the number of suburban police stations being closed down...

Car rego is going up because of CTP increase.

This is just an Allianz cash grab before they lose their monopoly.

The cold / man flu I've been sporting for about a week now.

I'm hot, then cold, then hot again. Haven't slept properly for about a week. Sore throat, creating snot like I'm a snail with a broken snot manufacturing gene, crackling chesty cough and I'm completely lethargic.

Other than that, I'm pretty good.
