yeah it is pretty standard to not bother with a set once you are a couple of breaks down for instance, but the difference is he was much more blatant about it. usually players will just try and blaze a few winners for instance rather than do what he did.

Its pretty clear it wasnt the right thing to do though

Without excusing the tosser behaviour of Kyrgios I think Tennis Australia needs to have a good look at itself and the way it goes about developing promising juniors. The last three 'big ones' have had serious attitude problems Hewitt, Tomic and now Kyrgios. I know Rafter said something about wanting to change the model and bring them through more like how he came through but it can't be healthy with these kids being pumped up from about 5 years old and told how good they're going to be with all the associated hanger ons blowing smoke up them too.

Rafter is only 6 years older than hewitt. do you really think so much has changed in that time?

Maybe, I bet tennis became a lot more professional in that time. I remember Rafter saying 'in his day' up and coming young guys were basically dumped in Europe and left to fend for themselves. Some of Rafter's stories from that period are pretty funny too.

I live in a group of townhouses, about 40 of them. Most of them are side by side and some are separated

So i keep or kept my bin outside the front of my yard in the group of bins where most of the other units have their bins. Each townhouse has its own bin, clearly numbered . Lately i had been finding that someone had been filling my bin up to the brim all week.I checked all bins every few nights over the period of a few weeks and none were filled up . I got the shits with this so moved my bin to my back yard, where no one could access it except me.

My fence is 6 foot high nearly for the back yard and to be honest its quite old and the wood is rotting away.

I get home last night, open the back door and find the fence is knocked over into my yard. I just assume that it finally just gave up and the wind knocked it over. The neighbour behind me yells out to me "hey mate , have a look this"....he shows me his phone . He had video taped the next door neighbour, jumping the fence to try and put his rubbish into my bin!!! WTF ?????????????

I approached the next door neighbour , asked him what the story was .... His response "i didn't want my bin stinking out and be full of ants so i wanted to use your bin" .............

He has since been reported to the manager onsite .

FML.............

You've misunderstood "love thy neighbour" mate.

Get in touch with Nug, he'll straighten you out.

Is Gary ablett representing australia when he plays?

I dont think his antics are a reflection on Australia as a whole, they are a reflection on him. And he was pretty poor last night. He needs to get better at that, because he let his emotions get the better of him. He is a better tennis player than Gasquet and should have beaten him.

But im just a little sick and tired of the instant vitriol when someone does something a little stupid.

Selling Gasquet a little short IMO, one of the best backhands in the game currently. Kyrgios may end up better but dont think he is currently better than Gasquet

Agreed. Gasquet's backhand is as good as Wawrinka's at its best. Very talented player who has never quite fulfilled his potential. The way he's playing right now, I'd back him against anyone except Federer.
