For once, I wasn't taking the pi$$.
The neck injury was chronic until I found one that could sort it out
Now its a matter of managing it but I still get adjustments done a few times per year
More to even up my legs - amazing how many people have one leg longer than the other and the pain it causes

I've got one leg longer than the other, never knew till a trainer when I was playing footy noticed it.
It's never impacted on me at all until the last month when I've developed hip pain from walking.
Unlike back pain when walking helped this needs rest.
I find it similar to previous back issues too as back pain used to send shooting pains down my hamstring where my hip sends shooting pains down my quad.
Now if I walk my hip/quad hurts and if I don't walk my back/hamstring hurts.
Isn't the human body a wonderful thing. :(

Basically, from the age of 25-30 we are in a long slow decline to death....

have a few good weekend and open that extra bottle of red, the die is cast!

Late 70s early 80s was a high water mark of Australian Film making on the background of some ripper scripts.

Gallipoli and Mad Max can be thrown on to that stack too.

Not quite 70s and 80s "but it's your shout, see?"

Puberty Blues (81) captures the Sydney culture too of the 70s along with the FJ Holden but that's more mid 70s release IIRC

The Odd Angry Shot (79) is still one of my favourite films
Graham Kennedy is fantastic in it

That was iconic when I was about 7 or 8 and would sneak in to watch it with my older cousins and their friends, gee how times have changed.

We used to hire The Odd Angry Shot and Puberty Blues every Friday night and watch them after the pub / club shut at 1am

Not an Aussie film but I remember watching the Blue Lagoon around the same time, probably first time the pecker woke up too seeing Brooke Shields in the nick.

I'm just renting atm and get monthly AGL gas and electricity bills.

There are solar panels at the property that I'm renting and I've heard previously that they aren't worth shit for a tenant.

Getting paid monthly means today is bill paying day, I go to pay the electricity bill thinking it's $139, I open the email and see that it's $139 in credit, winning considering my son and I have a split system in each of our rooms and they get a fair workout.

Go to pay the gas and because two out of every three bills are estimated the actual read showed that I was $3 in credit.

A small win for the little guy, just handy coming out of Christmas, 2 car rego's and a daughters birthday coming up.

Does the Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith and Picnic at Hanging Rock deserve a mention here?

For sure.

I still rate The Castle as one of if not the best Aussie film.

Hard to disagree, I reckon I might have Crocodile Dundee just ahead of it though, I seen that in the cinema about 15 times.

How ironic that they're both comedies, it's about all we're good at.
