I was happy to walk out of Lasseters in Alice Springs 50c up after an hour playing roulette

Gets better, left 40,000 up. May be a bit pissed!

20 grand is 20 grand. That's 50 pints over there isn't it?

Everything is relative

And left 40,000 in front tonight. Money/Old Rope.

Beanie, scarf & sock day at my girls’ school today where you wear said items & every kid takes in a new item or two for those less fortunate than us, like a winter appeal donation. Youngest proudly wearing her North Melbourne beanie & scarf - “We gotta stick with ‘em Daddio”, she told me on FaceTime.
Bought a tear to the eye…

There is nothing like the father/daughter bond, my daughter can tell me anything and knows she'll get an unbiased opinion when it's required but I can put on my dad hat when I need to aswell, she is undoubtably the greatest person I've ever met, she will do anything to help anyone.

So good, reminds me of a school casual day when my son was 6, he rolled out of his bedroom in his Glenelg guernsey

Nowhere else to put it.

My old man had a major heart attack yesterday, was out at a dance with my step-Mum, she's a 40 year nurse. He said he was feeling crook so went and got a brandy and dry as he does, she went to check on him and he'd started the sweats, she knew exactly what was happening. They were at the Lakes, she loaded him in the car and busted some red lights on the way to the hospital, he was in all sorts when they got there. They stabilized him and will put a stent in this afternoon. Surgeon said her actions saved him. Not out of the woods but as good as can be.

He said to my brother, "Got the sweats, chest went tight, figured I was f*cked".

Yikes, the fines will be worth it for him to pull through. He was with the best possible person at the time.

Lucky man.
